Suzie Bates is starting to find her form here.
New Zealand's openers are motoring now as Suzie Bates pulls one to the ropes. This is a very bright start.
Ouch! New Zealand's Suzie Bates smacks the ball against the ground and straight to Marufa Akter.
The bowler sticks out a hand and it painfully ricochets off her wrist. A quick visit from the magic sponge and we're good to continue.
Back to pace and Marufa is seeing plenty of movement, getting the ball to viciously swing in.

That was a great shot from Bernadine Bezuidenhout.
Bezuidenhout moves into the 20s with a back-foot cut for four to keep the scoreboard ticking along.
Ooof half a chance for Bangladesh as Bates mishits a chip just over the inner ring.
The single she runs takes her to 933 runs in T20 World Cups. The most of anyone and one more than Australia captain Meg Lanning.
Bezuidenhout 13, Bates 3
Spin continues as Salma Khatun joins the attack.
New Zealand are still running hard between the wickets.

New Zealand are playing typical backyard cricket, hit and run.
I think the White Ferns need to calm down a bit. It's knock and run even if it goes to a fielder! Suzie Bates gets away with one after a poor throw from a fielder on their heels inside the inner ring.

There's some questions around New Zealand's cricket at the moment, they seem to have got worse over the years.
Bangladesh turn to spin with Nahida Akter into the attack.
Bernadine Bezuidenhout adds two more with a classy shot through the covers. New Zealand aren't hanging about, they're running hard.

New Zealand know what they're going to do and are trying to put Bangladesh under pressure.
She certainly does. After conceding a boundary off her first ball, Marufa Akter tightens things up.
But New Zealand are running their singles hard. They know they need to win big to have any chance of reaching the last four.

Marufa Akter has the fearlessness of youth.

Shot! Bernadine Bezuidenhout guides a wide one from Marufa Akter beyond first slip for four clever runs.
Just the start New Zealand wanted.
Bernadine Bezuidenhout and Suzie Bates are opening the batting for New Zealand.
Just thinking, with both these two needing a big win will we see plenty of risks? This could be a thriller.
The permutations don't look good for these two.
New Zealand are practically out because of their vastly inferior net run-rate, and must win both their final two games by large margins to stand any chance.
Bangladesh also need to win both games, likely by healthy margins, to stay in contention, and hope other results go their way.
New Zealand's World Cup hopes took a huge dent last time out as they lost heavily to hosts South Africa.
South Africa reached 132-6 from their 20 overs. The White Ferns batting line-up crumbled in reply as they were bowled out for just 67 in the 19th over.
A second successive heavy loss left New Zealand bottom of Group 1 with a poor net run-rate.
On Tuesday, Bangladesh fell to an eight-wicket defeat against defending champions Australia.
Chasing 108 in Gqeberha, the five-time winners won with 10 balls to spare.
Bangladesh had made 107-7 with Nigar Sultana Joty scoring 57.
But it was a stodgy chase from Australia, who largely scored in singles, only hitting four boundaries in the final 11.3 overs of the chase.
That'll give Bangladesh plenty of encouragement.
