First boundary for England. Sophia Dunkley takes a big step down the wicket and slaps Pandey past mid-off to the ropes.

Wow.
That was absolutely incredible. It looks amazing on the replays but what's hard to do justice is just how quickly that was travelling to Richa Ghosh - that is so impressive and what a boost for India.
Miraculous pieces of fielding like that can really spark a team in to life.
It'll be fascinating to see how England's new, aggressive style responds to this early blow.
Thakur nearly takes Capsey's off stump! That would have been disastrous for England.
A single down the ground will settle a few nerves.

One-handed proper reaction catch. It's a big wicket for India. Fantastic edge and fantastic start.

Absolutely amazing catch! What a catch that is. That's a Test match moment!
Wyatt c Ghosh b Thakur 0 (Eng 1-1)
Great start for India, terrible for England!
Thakur hoops the ball in, Wyatt prods at it tentatively and Ghosh plucks it from the air behind the wicket.
Here comes Alice Capsey...

In comes Thakur... no wait, Dunkley steps away, they've forgotten to turn the PA off. Someone pull the cable out!
We're ready now, and start with a dot. Dunkley works the next ball into leg and England are off the mark.
India burst from their huddle, Danni Wyatt and Sophia Dunkley bump fists and swipe their bats through the air. They're warmed up, Renuka Thakur is at the top of her mark.
Let's go!

India have more seam options than England and they will be looking to utilise what's on offer with the weather that's been around and the pitch being under cover. England will have to be careful because the ball might nip around and they might have to be careful before they show that aggression we know they can.
India captain Harmanpreet Kaur is playing in her 149th T20I match today. It means she has become India's most capped player in the format in both men's and women's cricket. Rohit Sharma has played 148 T20Is for the men's team.

In all honesty I think England's player will look to get the job done. There is history with the Mankad last summer and what happened at Lord's left a sour taste. All I can take from that is England's players will learn their lesson and stay in their crease!
Both sides are out for the anthems. Everyone seems to be having a good chat with the children they're escorting onto the field.

We were a little worried this morning as we departed sunny Cape Town with news of rain in Gqeberha, but it's all gone smoothly so far.
I'm not surprised India have opted to bowl in these conditions. We're not expecting much more rain but it's cloudy and overcast, and they'll be relying on the likes of Renuka Thakur to get the ball moving.
For the first time in this competition it really feels like a big game, a blockbuster. There's not much separating these two teams at the moment either, so there's a real sense of anticipation surrounding this one.
While we wait for the teams to emerge, why not enjoy England sensation Alice Capsey's 21-ball half-century against Ireland.
Can she the repeat the feat today?
It's a little overcast but we should have an interrupted day's play in Gqeberha, with the BBC forecast offering nine hours of 0% chance of rain. Has that ever occurred in England?
How will Heather Knight's charges cope with such a complete absence of precipitation? It's unfamiliar conditions!
The last time these two teams met at this tournament was in the semi-final in 2020, when heavy rain led to a complete wash-out and India progressing without a ball being bowled. We'll get a game in today, though.
You can find the full forecast here.
England are unchanged from Monday's victory over Ireland, while India make one switch from their win over the West Indies three days ago - seamer Shikha Pandey is in for leg-spinner Devika Vaidya.
India: Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Harmanpreet Kaur(c), Richa Ghosh(wk), Deepti Sharma, Pooja Vastrakar, Shikha Pandey, Radha Yadav, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Renuka Singh Thakur
England: Danni Wyatt, Sophia Dunkley, Alice Capsey, Natalie Sciver-Brunt, Heather Knight(c), Amy Jones(wk), Katherine Sciver-Brunt, Sophie Ecclestone, Charlie Dean, Sarah Glenn, Lauren Bell
England captain Heather Knight: "It's not a problem losing the toss. There's a bit of rain around, pitch looks a bit tacky, and I'd have bowled first as well.
"Where can we improve? We can be a little bit sharper in the field and give some energy to the bowlers. They have a real job to do in friendly conditions for them.
"We definitely want to go hard as a team with the bat, but we have to fit the mindset to the conditions so we have to assess how we can do that."
