That's a clever little scoop. A nice, inventive funky shot from Laura Delany.

That's a clever little scoop. A nice, inventive funky shot from Laura Delany.
Clever flick from Laura Delany who scoops one round the corner for four more.
One more over and we've hit the minimum of five meaning we'll get a result. The rain has stopped too.
Gaby Lewis finally gets off the mark with a beautiful drive straight passed the bowler Vastrakar for four more.
Another fine over from Thakur. India have kept their professionalism amid all of this weather chaos. They're well on top in the early stages.
Advantage Ireland as the boundary rope blows fives yards closer. It's carnage out there.

Beautiful from Laura Delany. Anything Renuka Singh Thakur is overpitching Delany is onto in a flash.
Thakur continues. Laura Delany carves her to the fence to move on to eight runs off three deliveries.
Next shot though the ball swings away from her bat and just beats her edge.
While I remember here's a reminder of Smriti Mandhana's fabulous knock. Give it a watch.

Even the TV cameras are shaking around. It is really difficult out there for the players.
End of the over, five dots from it.
I think the weather is the only thing that can save Ireland. It might you know, there's droplets of rain on the TV cameras.
Has Pooja Vastrakar got Gaby Lewis lbw? Nope says the umpire and India choose not to appeal.
That might be because skipper Harmanpreet Kaur is looking the other way. I think something's flown into her eye.
Chaotic start in the wind here.

There's rain falling now that is almost horizontal.
Hold up, the wind has blown the bails off the stumps.
And is that some rain I can see?
And nearly a third wicket! Pooja Vastrakar catches a thick edge off Gaby Lewis which bounces just short of slip and races away for four.

This is not the start Ireland will have wanted. What an absolute gift.
Skipper Laura Delany ends the over with a square-drive for four.
As starts go, Ireland's could have been better...

She is bowling beautifully and keeping the stumps in play but you have to say it is poor batting from Ireland.
The first wicket was a gift and Orla Prendergast hasn't learnt from how England lost wickets on Saturday.
Renuka Singh Thakur just keeps it so simple and keeps the stumps in play. Batters going about it in the wrong way brings her wickets.
Prendergast b Thakur 0 (Ire 1-2)
Ireland are all over the place!
A brilliant delivery from Renuka Thakur has the off-stump cartwheeling with an in-swinger.
Number three Prendergast is gone for a four-ball duck.

I think Gaby Lewis is going to have to say sorry to Amy Hunter.
Target 156
The worst possible start for Ireland. A second run was never on there and it's an uphill battle already for the girls in green.
