Thanks Tom. Ireland have never won a Women's T20 World Cup match. Beating India would be some story.

Speaking of Laura Delany by the way, earlier she struck twice in three balls.

After all that drama it is time for me to take a break.

Here to guide you through the Ireland reply is Josef Rindl.

  7. 'I was roaring at my teammates'published at 14:34 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2023

Ireland skipper Laura Delany: "It was tricky with the wind coming out of nowhere. It was tricky to communicate out there with the left and right combo, at one stage I was roaring at my teammates.

"We will target the wind, that was something India tried to do.

"Absolutely we will chase hard, the top three have batted with so much intent and us as the middle-order will hope to back them up.

"Louise Little injured her hand but hopefully she will be good to play in the second innings."

    Ind 155-6

What a chaotic innings that was. Talk about from the sublime to the ridiculous.

The result is India reach 155-6 from their 20 overs, meaning Ireland need 156 to win.

A tough ask you would think.

It is certainly going to be a tough ask for Ireland. They will be rueing the dropped chances, especially Smriti Mandhana. It was poor fielding, regulation chances, and you can't afford to drop players like her as many times as they did.
