    Another life for Malan.

  2. Eng 64-1published at 8 overs

Mustafizur Rahman comes in to bowl his first spell.

After three dot balls Malan hits a wide all towards deep third for four, but that'll be the only runs England get in this over.

    Eng 60-1published at 7 overs

A great shot from Dawid Malan towards deep cover for four from Shakib Al Hasan's short ball.

Malan hits the next ball high up towards wide long-on and there's a jumping effort from Najmul Hossain Shanto on the ropes, but he misses it and it goes for six. If he caught that, it would've been a remarkable catch.

  4. Eng 47-1published at 6 overs

    Target 159

Hasan Mahmud comes in to bowl the last over of the powerplay and Dawid Malan effortlessly hits the first ball for four towards mid-wicket.

A good over from Taskin Ahmed who restricts England.

The third ball is full on the leg side and it flicks Malan's pad and goes for four byes.

Otherwise Taskin adjusts his line and length well aiming at the top of the stumps, with four precious dot balls in the over.

  10. Not outpublished at 11:02 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2023

There were spikes on ultra edge after the ball went past the inside edge of the bat. The third umpire has given it as not out. Was it bat or ball flicking pad?

Bangladesh won't be too pleased with that.

Another wicket for Bangladesh? This time it could be Malan lbw... England have decided to review.

A wicket from Tanvir Islam's third ball on debut! What a way to start.

Phil Salt attempted a drive but missed the ball. The ball turned and went straight to wicketkeeper Litton Das who whipped off the bails.

Salt's foot was not grounded behind the line and Bangladesh have their breakthrough.

    Thank you Ffion.

Dropped catches, mis-fields and fumbles in the field from England. Their performance has been poor so far, both in the series and today.

The last quarter was good from the England bowlers to restrict Bangladesh, but was it too little too late? I think so.

Litton Das top-scored for Bangladesh with a brilliant 73 from 57 balls, and Najmul Hossain Shanto finished unbeaten on 47 from 36 balls - though he stalled at the end as England dragged back control.

Just the two wickets for England, with Adil Rashid the pick of the bowlers with 1-23.

Those last five overs made up for a pretty poor fielding performance from England overall.
