Travis Head definitely doesn't look comfortable against the short ball but he deals with Mark Wood's first over.

He tends to get very square on and the ball can just pop up in unusual areas. England will hope they get their fielders in the right position.

Travis Head always gets into an awkward position but gets away with it.

Mark Wood is coming back on for England.

    Short ball to Travis Head?

    You bet.

The moment of the series for me was (grudgingly) Cummins winning the first Test with the bat. There have been many key moments in the series but I don't think Australia retain the Ashes without that one. In fact it was very possible they would have been overwhelmed by England's style if they lost that game. Proper captain's innings.

  6. Aus 221-3published at 60 overs

    Target 384

Steve Smith is a bit unhappy with Joel Wilson.

The umpire has decided he wasn't attempting a shot as Moeen Ali strays onto the hip.

Smith thought he was getting two leg-byes but Wilson decides otherwise.

Steve Smith likes using his feet and coming down the ground, he's gambling a little bit.

  8. Aus 220-3published at 59.3 overs

    Target 384

    Almost!

A bit of spin out of the footholes from Moeen Ali and Steve Smith inside edges through his legs and just wide of leg stump.

  9. Aus 219-3published at 59.1 overs

    Target 384

Steve Smith drives Moeen Ali's first ball for four.

Will Australia attack Moeen and look to make a dent in the target?

How well can Moeen move? He hasn't looked too good in the field.

Ben Stokes has had a rethink.

We're going to see spin for the first time today as Moeen Ali replaces James Anderson.

Travis Head has looked really dangerous for his 27.

  13. Aus 215-3published at 59 overs

    Target 384

Travis Head and Steve Smith have put on 46 in 10 overs now. It's been a good counter-attack from the Australia pair.

Time for a rethink for Ben Stokes?

  15. Aus 211-3published at 58.1 overs

    Target 384

Stuart Broad has beat the edge of Travis Head again.

I've lost count of how many times Broad has beaten the bat today.

England haven't gone short to Head and most people think that's a good thing with the ball moving, but they might go that way if England feel they can't dislodge him.

It's still happening, the ball is still swinging and nipping. You just feel there's been a good counter punch from Australia but you feel England just need to grab hold of the run rate and get the length right.

  18. Aus 211-3published at 58 overs

    Target 384

    Better from James Anderson.

He starts with four dot balls to Travis Head before a superb diving stop by Mark Wood at mid-on saves a boundary.

Anderson almost has Steve Smith dragging on from the final ball as a bit of bounce surprises him but the ball drops wide of the stumps.
