Target 384
Superb timing from Todd Murphy, whipping the ball leg side, one bounce for four.
He'll be on strike for the start of the next over after taking a single from the penultimate delivery.
With Moeen Ali limbering up to bowl another over, those calling for the new ball are going to be disappointed again.

My birthday today, so just getting home for an evening with the family. Had to leave my mate at the Oval after Head's wicket. Can you imagine the updates I am getting from him now?
Andrew
Oh, Andrew...
Target 384
Change of tack from Alex Carey, he's stopped trying to protect Todd Murphy and instead pushes the easy single to long on first up.
Might that bring about a change in the field from Ben Stokes to try and cut off those easy singles?
Target 384
After Alex Carey takes the single second ball, Todd Murphy defends his way through the rest of the Moeen Ali over.
There's an inside edge last ball but it goes to ground quickly and is wide of the short leg fielder.
England seem happy to stick with the old ball for the time being.
Moeen Ali is going to carry on. The wait for the second new ball goes on.

Sat in the garden of our holiday villa in Tuscany, possible thunderstorm building but I'm not moving until this game ends.

This match has now been turned on its head. What a comeback it's been for Moeen Ali in Test cricket.
Target 384
Todd Murphy pushes at one outside off, gets a thick edge but the ball goes wide of the slips and down to deep third for four.
That comes slap bang in the middle of a pair of plays and misses. Stuart Broad is getting the ball to nip away from the left-hander but on each occasion it does far too much and misses the bat by a distance.

Todd Murphy has a very solid technique.

Everyone's talking about Broad perhaps signing off his Ashes career in style, but Moeen Ali is doing it right now! That's brilliant. Cummins is a crucial wicket, and Stokesy wasn't letting that ball go too soon!

Target 384
Third ball of the over, Alex Carey does take the single.
That gives Stuart Broad three deliveries at Todd Murphy. Three slips in place.
Target 384
With 90 still needed to win, Alex Carey is turning down singles.
England are happy to offer it for now. They're protecting the boundaries.

The crowd has risen to its feet just for Broad taking his floppy hat off.
Here we go. Stuart Broad for what could be his last spell in Test cricket...

Stuart Broad for one last time.

Stuart Broad is just warming up.
Target 384
Todd Murphy answers the question as to whether Australia might now look to bat for a draw by driving and missing at his first ball.
He then turns down a single to end the over. Alex Carey looks like he's going to try and farm the strike.

Told to come into the office for the last day of the month to get some sales in. Spent all day listening to TMS instead and quietly exchanging fist pumps with a colleague when the wickets go down...
