  1. 50 runs

    50 for Nat Sciver-Bruntpublished at 23.1 overs

That might get England going again!

Nat Sciver-Brunt meets the ball on the full and slaps it over mid-on for four.

That takes her to a 21st ODI half-century. It's another important knock from the England all-rounder.

  2. 100 runs

    Eng 100-2published at 23 overs

Applause around Taunton as Nat Sciver-Brunt flicks the ball to leg to bring up the 100 for England.

They are getting bogged down a little bit at the moment, though.

  3. Eng 97-2published at 22 overs

Having rotated the strike so well prior to these last few overs, England are struggling with that at the moment.

Georgia Wareham is bowling a good line, challenging the stumps and concedes just two ones in the over.

How about 2 Tests, 3 T20s and 1 ODI? Massive thanks to the whole team for your coverage of this series - it has been absolutely brilliant. Special thanks to Henry who came and chatted with me before day 5 at Trent bridge - it was great to meet you!

It has been intriguing. England are looking pretty comfortable with their two most senior batters at the crease. A really crucial partnership is building. I think England need close to 300.

  6. Eng 95-2published at 21 overs

This is a good spell for Australia as Tahlia McGrath gets through another quiet over.

Heather Knight did play a couple of nice shots but just wasn't able to beat the in-field.

No need for England to panic at this stage.

I would like to see more Tests in this multi-format series, I hope that is reviewed. It is a tough recipe as there needs to be a heavy white-ball element because that is what is played domestically.

  8. Eng 92-2published at 20 overs

Superb over from Georgia Wareham - and it's a maiden.

Back-to-back good overs for Australia to just put a little bit of pressure on the England batters.

Of course, the fours and sixes are more fun...

  10. Eng 92-2published at 19 overs

Good over from Tahlia McGrath. Just two from it to slow England's momentum a little.

Even in overs without a boundary, Heather Knight and Nat Sciver-Brunt have done a good job of keeping the scoreboard ticking over.

Spin has been England's nemesis, but they are not letting the spin bowlers settle, taking the attacking option.

  14. Eng 90-2published at 18 overs

Heather Knight continues on her merry way with another boundary.

The England captain is able to go back to a shorter delivery from Georgia Wareham and thump it through mid-wicket.

Nat Sciver-Brunt has had a bit more of the strike but it is actually Heather Knight scoring at the better rate for now.

The England skipper has looked in good nick so far.

Nat Sciver-Brunt is a serious cricketer, she makes everything look easy. She is probably the best all-rounder at the minute, she has that ability to calm pressure and rotate the strike.

  19. drinks break

    Eng 84-2published at 17 overs

Australia go back to seam as Tahlia McGrath comes on to bowl for the first time in the match.

England's approach remains the same, they're happy to rotate the strike and wait for the bad balls.

Four more singles it is then and it's time for drinks.
