We have new leaders of each T20 Blast group, with Birmingham Bears and Surrey displacing Notts Outlaws and Somerset.

Yorkshire Vikings remain the competition's form team as Adam Lyth's unbeaten 90 saw them to victory over Leicestershire Foxes.

The innings of the night, though, was played by Middlesex's Max Holden, who made 121 not out off 59 balls, but they now have a 0-9 record after losing to Kent, while Lancashire's Steven Croft hit his first century in his 235th T20 match.

Surrey are the new leaders of the South Group, leapfrogging Somerset after their 28-run win in Taunton. They both have 14 points, but Surrey have the superior run rate.

Essex move up to third, two points behind both of them on 12 points, after their four-wicket success over Glamorgan at Chelmsford.

Hampshire hold the fourth and final knockout spot despite their six-run loss to Sussex at Hove.

The defending champions have 10 points, two clear of Glamorgan.

Sussex and Kent each have six points after tonight's wins, as Kent inflicted a ninth straight loss on bottom side Middlesex with a 13-run triumph at Lord's.

Middlesex have now lost a miserable 13 successive matches in the T20 Blast. This campaign cannot end quickly enough for them!

Sussex hold on to beat reigning champions Hampshire at Hove in the T20 Blast for the first time this season.

After four wins in a row, that is Hampshire's second straight defeat going into Sunday's trip to The Oval to play Surrey.

Sussex's third win of the season lifts them to six points, and keeps alive their faint hopes of reaching the quarter-finals.

Their next game is at home to Kent on Tuesday night.

Another dominant victory for Yorkshire, that's six on the spin in the T20 Blast.

An eight-wicket win against Leicestershire sees them climb up the Northern Group table.

Currently the form team in this year's Blast.

There is a three-way tie at the top with Birmingham Bears and Yorkshire Vikings moving above Notts Outlaws - who didn't play this evening - by virtue of a superior run rate.

All three have 12 points, two more than Lancashire Lightning, who climbed two places to fourth by beating Northamptonshire Steelbacks.

Durham are fifth following their thrilling tie with Derbyshire, with Worcestershire Rapids - who have a game in hand on all the other teams in the group - in sixth place, on eight points.

Match tied. Ali hits a 4 from the final ball to tie the game with both sides on 178. They needed 10 ten win from the final over. For both sides it's only the third time a game has ended in a tie.

William Buttleman needs just one ball to win the match for Essex as he sends one through the covers for four.

They win by four wickets with four overs to spare for a fourth win on the spin in the T20 Blast. All the fours!

Essex now have a four-point cushion over Glamorgan after this result and are starting to look strong candidates to qualify from the South Group again.

After being 1-2, Feroze Khushi's 61 set them up for this chase against a total that always looked below par.

A low-key finish to the match-up between South Group's top two as Surrey draw level with Somerset's seven wins in the competition.

Just a leg bye and two singles from the final over, bowled by Tom Lawes, as Somerset come up short at Taunton.

After opener Will Jacks made 60, Chris Jordan hit 36 off 12 balls to give Surrey's attack something to defend and despite a stand of 69 between the Toms - Banton (53) and Abell (39) - the Somerset lower order fell away.

Sam Curran took 5-26 but Somerset may want to look again at Sean Dickson's run out dismissal? Was the ball in Curran's hand when he broke the stumps?
