  1. Postpublished at 12 overs

The Blaze 62-4 v Southern Vipers

The Blaze are struggling to find the gaps through the infield after the resumption. Three singles from Georgia Adams' over.

They don't have long to get up to a competitive total, albeit in very different conditions to yesterday when it looked like a batter's paradise.

  2. Postpublished at 11 overs

The Blaze 59-4 v Southern Vipers

Anya Shrubsole completes her spell and finishes with 2-24 from her four overs. A wide one to start the over but otherwise it's very tidy from the ex-England seamer.

  3. Postpublished at 10 overs

The Blaze 53-4 v Southern Vipers

Three dot balls to start for Charlie Dean and we reach the halfway point of The Blaze's 20-over innings.

The Blaze, who progressed to the final as group winners with a 100% winning record, chose to bat first in the final.

But they lost England opener Tammy Beaumont in the first over and struggled to recover from that early blow.

Anya Shrubsole took two of the wickets to fall, while spinner Linsey Smith has conceded just 10 runs from her three overs to date and was also responsible for Kathryn Bryce losing her middle stump.

Defending champions Southern Vipers had the best of Saturday's Finals Day before the rain came.

They beat Thunder in a high-scoring semi-final eliminator, before their bowlers took control of the final against The Blaze.

  8. Weather watchpublished at 10:07 British Summer Time 11 June 2023

The Blaze 53-4 (9.3 overs) v Southern Vipers

It seems like the forecast is pretty similar to yesterday in Worcester - a sunny day until late afternoon, when there's the potential for more storms.

All being well though, the final will be wrapped up well before any rain arrives.

This was the scene at New Road yesterday evening after a thunderstorm and a prolonged deluge of rain prevented a conclusion to the Charlotte Edwards Cup final.

But The Blaze and Southern Vipers are back at the home of Worcestershire CCC today to find out which team will lift the trophy in 2023.

Play is set to resume at 10:15 BST with The Blaze 53-4 in the 10th over of their innings, with a full game of 20 overs per side scheduled.
