  1. wicket

WICKET Raza c Mackintosh b Greaves 34published at 17.5 overs

    Zimbabwe 91-5 (target 235)

GONE! Chris Greaves does make amends, and he's pumped!

It's tossed up outside off, and Sikandar Raza cannot resist. He goes down the ground, but only finds Tomas Mackintosh at long-off.

Jubilant scenes from the Scotland players, and Raza looks to the heavens in despair.

  2. Postpublished at 17 overs

    Zimbabwe 87-4 (target 235)

Safyaan Sharif is leaking runs, and in all honesty, is bowling poorly.

He's bowling far too full on a pitch where back-of-a-length has been the play.

11 from the over, and that's the 50 partnership between these two batters.

Chris Greaves is coming on to bowl - he missed Sikandar Raza in the field earlier, but can he make amends?

  3. Postpublished at 16 overs

    Zimbabwe 76-4 (target 235)

    Five from Mark Watt's over.

When will Richie Berrington turn to Chris Greaves? His leg-spin has taken plenty of wickets in this tournament, and Scotland would love a breakthrough here.

  4. Postpublished at 15 overs

    Zimbabwe 71-4 (target 235)

Safyaan Sharif's third over goes for five runs, spoiled by a leg-side delivery that is tickled down to fine leg for four.

  5. drinks break

    Drinks breakpublished at 14 overs

    Zimbabwe 66-4 (target 235)

Mark Watt, as he does, bowls from well behind the popping crease, which Ryan Burl clearly doesn't like, but dangles a bat at it, and defends into the off-side.

He's saying he wasn't ready, Watt and Matthew Cross retort that he played at it, but the umpire sides with Burl and signals dead ball.

It's a legal delivery, so I'm not having that.

    Anyway, time for a drink.

  6. Postpublished at 13.2 overs

    Zimbabwe 65-4 (target 235)

Edged away for four - get a slip in!!

  7. Postpublished at 13 overs

    Zimbabwe 61-4 (target 235)

Ryan Burl now smashes Sharif through cover for four more. That over has released the shackles somewhat for Zimbabwe.

It prompts a change - Mark Watt is into the attack.

  8. 6 runs

    Postpublished at 12.4 overs

    Zimbabwe 56-4 (target 235)

Safyaan Sharif overstretches and is called for a front-foot no-ball, and Sikandar Raza belts the free hit over cover point for six.

    That's sloppy cricket.

  9. Postpublished at 12 overs

    Zimbabwe 48-4 (target 235)

Brandon McMullen continues to find swing, and is asking plenty of questions, but Zimbabwe keep his latest over out.

  10. Postpublished at 10 overs

    Zimbabwe 41-4 (target 235)

The powerplay comes to an end, and we'll have the first bowling change of this chase, as Safyaan Sharif is introduced to the attack, just one wicket away from 100 ODI scalps.

Those first ten overs have been dominated by one man of course - Chris Sole ripping the heart out of Zimbabwe's top order with a high-quality spell of pace bowling.

  11. Postpublished at 9 overs

    Zimbabwe 39-4 (target 235)

Another excellent Chris Sole over goes for just two runs.

Scotland have been so, so good in these opening stages - the only blemish was that dropped catch off Sikandar Raza.

Zimbabwe essentially have no room for error now.

  12. wicket

WICKET Kaia lbw b McMullen 12published at 7.5 overs

    Zimbabwe 37-4 (target 235)

Ball tracking shows that the ball would have just clipped the top of leg stump, and Innocent Kaia has to go.

Scotland are well on top, but they missed the chance to dismiss the dangerous Sikandar Raza earlier in the over.

Ryan Burl joins Raza in the middle of a pressure cooker.

  13. Postpublished at 7.5 overs

    Zimbabwe 35-3 (target 235)

Now then... Innocent Kaia has been given out lbw on the field.

He's sent it upstairs - Scotland and Zimbabwe hold their breath.

  14. dropped catch

Raza dropped on fivepublished at 7.2 overs

    Zimbabwe 35-3 (target 235)

Wow, how important could this prove to be?

Sikandar Raza tries to put the pressure back on Scotland, but can only skew his pull shot straight up in the air.

Chris Greaves comes in from the boundary, gets there comfortably, but puts it down - should have been taken.

  15. Postpublished at 7 overs

    Zimbabwe 34-3 (target 235)

Chris Sole spears in a yorker at Sikandar Raza's toes first up, and Zimbabwe's number four does excellently to get bat on it.

Raza is then squared up, but edges safely down to third man.

  16. wicket

WICKET Williams b Sole 12published at 6.2 overs

    Zimbabwe 29-3 (target 235)

    BOWLED HIM!! PACE, SERIOUS PACE!

There's that breakthrough I said they'd love, and it's that man Chris Sole again. Full, swinging back into Sean Williams' pads, and not even a man in his form with the bat can keep it out.

There are some seriously glum faces in the stands. Sikandar Raza heads out to the middle with his side in trouble.

  17. Postpublished at 6 overs

    Zimbabwe 29-2 (target 235)

Five runs from McMullen's third over.

Scotland would love another early wicket...

  18. Postpublished at 5.1 overs

    Zimbabwe 26-2 (target 235)

Now Sean Williams edges Brandon McMullen just wide of slip - this is captivating stuff.

  19. Postpublished at 5 overs

    Zimbabwe 24-2 (target 235)

Sean Williams cuts a short and wide delivery to the point boundary for four, before pulling a front-foot no-ball for three more.

Innocent Kaia can't take advantage of the free hit though.

Almost a run out from the final ball of the set, as Kaia sets off for a single that isn't there - Michael Leask only has one stump to aim at, and only just misses.

    It's all happening in Bulawayo!

  20. Postpublished at 4 overs

    Zimbabwe 15-2 (target 235)

Tidy stuff from Brandon McMullen keeps Zimbabwe to just one run from the over.

Chris Sole to charge in again...
