Issy Wong has struggled this summer and the fast bowler is left out of the Birmingham Phoenix XI today.

A statement from the Phoenix read: "Issy misses out this afternoon and will be working on her run-up mechanics with our coaches this week.

"We hope to have Issy back in the starting XI as soon as possible."

Birmingham Phoenix captain Eve Jones: "We would have had a bowl so not too bothered about that one.

"We've had a few close games where we've been frustrated not to get over the line but today is another one to try and get our first win. We're looking forward to it.

"We've had times where we've batted really well but we've got to try and create more partnerships.

"Our leg-spinners have been brilliant. Every game they've taken wickets and kept the runs down."

Southern Brave captain Anya Shrubsole: "We've played some decent cricket without being at our best so we're excited to be back at the Ageas Bowl - we generally play some pretty good cricket here.

"Our top three have scored a lot of runs and batted really well. They've set up a lot of games for us so we're looking for them to go again today then hopefully some contributions from the middle order.

"In tournament cricket it's about finding a way over the line and we managed to do that in the last game. That's all you can ask for me."

The Hundred rolls on and today's double header comes from the Ageas Bowl where Southern Brave take on Birmingham Phoenix.

We start with the women's match and the Brave have the chance to reclaim top spot with victory over the winless Phoenix.

That wouldn't quite be enough to secure a knockout place but it would be a big step towards it for the two-time runners up.
