Southern Brave will be delighted with that performance. They kept Phoenix in check throughout.

  2. Phoenix 119-8published at 100 balls

No hat-trick for Tymal Mills tonight, but he does finish with a very impressive 3-19.

It was a struggle the whole way through for Birmingham Phoenix on a very tough pitch.

Southern Brave need 120 to win.

Lovely shot from Chris Woakes but unfortunately for him, it's straight to the fielder.

It's a skimmer but Leus du Plooy has got a good pair of hands.

    Woakes c Du Plooy b Mills 4 (Phoenix 117-8)

The hat-trick could still be on!

Chris Woakes gets better connection on this one but Leus du Plooy does well, charging in from the boundary and taking the catch low to the ground.

If there was anyone on the field I would think could take that catch, it's Chris Jordan.

  7. dropped catch

Woakes dropped on 1published at 97 balls

Well, he almost gets the first wicket of a hat-trick!

Chris Woakes slogs one high up into the air and his namesake Jordan charges in, dives, but can't quite get there.

He doesn't drop many, but it was a tough one.

I wouldn't be surprised to see another hat-trick here. Seven down, tail in...

  9. Phoenix 114-7published at 95 balls

Chris Jordan gets a slower ball wrong and delivers it above waist-height to Chris Woakes, who takes a single so Adam Milne has a free hit to work with.

He attempts a ramp, but misses, so Jordan gets away with it.

A good night's work from Jordan on his return to the side, with 1-20 from his 15 balls.

You'd expect to see Chris Jordan bowling yorkers at this stage of the innings but he's taken all of the pace off.

We've seen how hard it is to hit pace-off deliveries on this pitch.

Chris Jordan took the pace right off that one and the wickets are coming thick and fast.

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 91 balls

    Howell c Allen b Jordan 15 (Phoenix 108-7)

    Two in two!

That just shows how tricky this pitch is. The one before got Livingstone with pace, this one from Chris Jordan gets Benny Howell with the pace off.

He slices it into the hands of Finn Allen diving forward at short third.

Big wicket for the Brave just when Liam Livingstone was looking to get going.

Tymal Mills gets his man in the end. That one was 90mph.

  15. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 90 balls

    Livingstone c Conway b Mills 25 (Phoenix 108-6)

    Tymal Mills strikes back!

The slower balls have done the trick so far but Mills gets his man with a bit of extra pace.

That's a huge breakthrough for the Southern Brave. Livingstone was setting himself up to do some real damage in the final 10 balls.

Brilliant piece of bowling from Rehan Ahmed. He didn't get carried away when he saw that bit of spin.

Variations and second-guessed the batsmen beautifully, he knew what they were trying to do. A very good night's work.

  19. Phoenix 99-5published at 85 balls

Liam Livingstone almost swings himself off his feet trying to hit another six off Rehan Ahmed.

He doesn't connect and the youngster finishes with an impressive 3-22 from his spell.

The first real bit of aggression from Liam Livingstone. I think he's decided to put his foot on the pedal.

A bit of width from Rehan Ahmed and he's gone after it. Liam Livingstone at his best.
