Some impressive hitting late on from Daryl Mitchell means this one is set up nicely for the Superchargers chase.

Victory for them could lift them up to second. To see if they can do it, it's over to Tom Mallows.

London Spirit's Adam Rossington: "I took a little while to get going, they bowled well at the start, but we got a good score.

"The key to hitting those shots was a good solid base and watching the ball all the way onto the bat.

"We are maybe just a bit over par with that finish. Wadey played a brilliant knock and then Mitch at the end.

"When we bowl we need to hit the top of the stumps, try and get some swing and then mix it up in the middle. We probably need to win all three of our remaining games so hopefully we can start that tonight."

Adil Rashid was the pick of the Northern Superchargers bowlers.

The England leg-spinner took 2-18 from his 20 balls.

He bowled Dan Lawrence before having Adam Rossington caught in the deep.

    Breaking

    Spirit 160-6

Daryl Mitchell is run out coming back for a second run that was never on.

Still, a decent total for London Spirit to try and defend.

  5. Spirit 155-5published at 96 balls

Full toss from Reece Topley and Daryl Mitchell muscles it over cover for four!

  6. 6 runs

    Spirit 151-5published at 95 balls

Wayne Parnell was carted around the park in his first 15 balls but looked to be pulling things back with his last five...

That is until the last ball is whipped high over the leg side by Daryl Mitchell for a mighty six!

  7. Spirit 140-5published at 90 balls

Matt Critchley, who so nearly took Spirit to a dramatic win at The Oval a couple of nights back, is the new batter.

Decent set from Reece Topley but, with the batters in their crease, a direct hit from Harry Brook in the deep allows an extra run.

    10 balls to go...

    Bopara c Zaib b Topley 6 (Spirit 135-5)

Skied by Ravi Bopara and Saif Zaib gets underneath to take the catch.

Bopara was trying to hit the ball not just over the leg side but out of the ground from the looks of it!

It was an almighty swing of the bat but the ball just went skywards.

Looking at the TV pictures from Lord's, I have no idea how it isn't raining. It looks incredibly gloomy!

It's still dry for now, though, so on we go.

  10. Spirit 131-4published at 85 balls

Fantastic from Adil Rashid. He's had the ball on a strong tonight.

Just four runs from that set of five and he ends his 20 balls with figures of 2-18.

  11. Spirit 128-4published at 81 balls

And here is Adil Rashid. Ravi Bopara sweeps hard to his first ball but just for a single.

Ravi Bopara is a dangerous batter for Spirit.

He strikes at 169.98 in the death overs (16-20) in a T20.

His strike-rate is at its lowest against leg-spin so the five balls that Adil Rashid has remaining may be key in restricting Bopara.

Yes, please! That is gorgeous from Daryl Mitchell.

An elegant checked drive from the New Zealander, hitting handsomely over mid-off for four.

    Wade lbw b Parnell 42 (Spirit 120-4)

No bat involved and Matthew Wade started walking as soon as he saw that confirmed. He knew it was hitting.

Wayne Parnell knew well before that, he was in full Stuart Broad celebrappeal mode as soon as the ball hit the pad.

It was the back leg as well. Ball-tracking shows it was arrowing into leg stump with Wade aiming the shot leg side.

  15. Spirit reviewpublished at 76 balls

Matthew Wade is trapped lbw by Wayne Parnell.

He reviews but if there's no bat then this is about as plumb as it gets.

  16. Spirit 120-3published at 75 balls

    Wade 42, Mitchell 8

Matthew Wade is scoring quickly enough without misfields but an error at extra cover allows him a couple of bonus runs to end Matthew Short's set.

  17. Spirit 114-3published at 72 balls

Not timed by Matthew Wade but his leg-side heave has enough power on it to get to the boundary despite the best efforts of Adam Hose in the deep.

  18. Spirit 109-3published at 70 balls

Maybe David Wiese's luck has turned. He ends the set with a slower ball bouncer that Matthew Wade leaves expecting a wide or a no-ball.

It looked very high but the umpires are happy with it. Dot ball.

  19. Spirit 108-3published at 67 balls

Close! Thick inside edge from new batter Daryl Mitchell and the ball whistles past leg stump and away for four.

Very unlucky for David Wiese. The bowler had done everything right.

That was a timely wicket for Superchargers, Adam Rossington was starting to cause real damage...
