Live Reporting

Ffion Wynne and Sam Drury

All times stated are UK

  1. Post update

Thanks for joining us again, and we've got one more day of group stage action to go - even if the knockouts are all decided.

Birmingham Phoenix and London Spirit play tomorrow, and we'll be live with you from 14:45 BST for the women's game.

For now, enjoy my colleague Sam Drury's match report on tonight's action...

...and we look forward to you joining us tomorrow.

  2. Post update

So the knockout matches are all confirmed.

In the women's competition, Welsh Fire face Northern Superchargers on Saturday, followed by Manchester Originals vs Southern Brave in the men's competition.

Southern Brave women and Oval Invincibles men await the winners in the final on Sunday.

  3. 'The rain made it tricky for us'

Manchester Originals captain Jos Buttler on BBC Two: "We're through, and that's the main thing. We are disappointed to lose tonight but we're still in it.

"It's good to see your opposition and know what you're up against but I don't think tonight means too much when we're looking ahead.

"The rain made it tricky for us with the bowlers finding it hard to grip the ball so we'll start again at a new venue.

"I wasn't at my best with the bat tonight and found it hard to get going but it wasn't the easiest pitch. I'm glad I've got another chance on Saturday to go again."

  4. Post update

Tymal Mills had another great day with the ball.

He even provided some analysis for the TV from his own bowling, too.

  5. 'Can't take anything for granted'

Southern Brave bowler Tymal Mills on BBC Two: "I would have liked that to have finished 10 or 15 balls earlier but we got the job done.

"It was tricky. The weather didn't help. But we knew we just had to win so there wasn't the time pressure on it.

"We're thrilled to be through to the knockouts and we'll play this lot again down in London on Saturday."

On the Eliminator: "It's tricky because we're playing at The Oval on Saturday which I'm sure will be different to what we've come across here.

"We can't take anything for granted. Just because we beat them here doesn't mean we're going to roll them over on Saturday."

On his own bowling: "It's been a good comp so far, I'm happy with how I'm doing personally. It's hard bowling at the death every game, you've got to understand that you're no always going to get it right and in the last game I got a bit of tap.

"That's how it goes but it's how you bounce back. Hopefully I've got two more games big games for the boys."

  6. Post update

130 did look defendable on a pitch that was suiting the slower bowlers.

But Manchester Originals' bowlers started poorly and left themselves too much to do at the end.

Devon Conway steered them home with a perfectly-timed unbeaten 54.

  7. Post update

The result also means that Welsh Fire finish in fourth, as they needed Originals to win to qualify.

However, they've made a drastic improvement on their winless season of 2022.

Here's how the table looks with one group game to go:

    1. Oval Invincibles
    2. Manchester Originals
    3. Southern Brave
    4. Welsh Fire
    5. Trent Rockets
    6. London Spirit
    7. Northern Superchargers
    8. Birmingham Phoenix
  8. Post update

    Michael Vaughan

Former England captain on BBC Two

Originals didn't bowl at their best tonight.

  9. Post update

    Isa Guha

Former England bowler on BBC Two

They've done it with a boundary. Southern Brave force their way into the eliminator and it'll be a rematch on Saturday.

  10. Southern Brave win by six wickets

Colin Ackermann hits the winning boundary and Southern Brave confirm their place in the Hundred eliminator!

But Manchester Originals, despite defeat, also go through because of their superior net run-rate. So the eliminator will see a rematch between these two sides to see who faces Oval Invincibles in the final.

  11. Brave 130-4

    Need 1 from 6 balls

A single to Conway and the scores are level.

  12. Post update

    Michael Vaughan

Former England captain on BBC Two

A brilliant strike down the ground. It was a gamble to bowl Turner.

Conway has played a beautiful innings.

  13. 50 for Devon Conway

    Need 4 from 8 balls

Smashed down the ground for four and Devon Conway reaches a brilliant half-century from 38 balls.

    Southern Brave inch closer.

  14. Post update

    Isa Guha

Former England bowler on BBC Two

That's a big blow from the Brave.

  15. Not out

    Brave 122-4

    Ackermann survives.

Brave need a further nine runs from the last 10 balls.

  16. Originals review

A very ambitious review from the Originals.

It's a brilliant yorker from Zaman, but unfortunately for him it's trickled away for four!

    Buttler sends it upstairs anyway.

  17. Brave 117-4

Need 14 runs from 12 balls

    Perfection slightly dampened.

The widest of wides you will ever see.

  18. Post update

    Carlos Brathwaite

West Indies all-rounder on BBC Two

This has been a perfect set so far.

  19. Brave 116-4

Need 15 runs from 12 balls

Three dot balls in a row from Zaman Khan...

  20. Brave 116-4

Need 15 runs from 15 balls

Colin Ackermann and Devon Conway seem perfectly happy to do this in singles.

It's gone pretty quiet at Old Trafford.
