Good running allows Amy Jones to get two from the last ball. But Phoenix now need more than two runs-a-ball.

Phoenix needed those boundaries. If Amy Jones gets going - and there are signs she might do - then we could be in for a very exciting finish.

If you have a few dot balls in The Hundred you feel like you're really behind the eight-ball, but equally a couple of boundaries and you're back in the game.

Very tidy stuff from Kirstie Gordon. I feel like that could have been said after just about every set she's bowled in this tournament.

Jones gets two from the last ball of Kirstie Gordon's set with a reverse paddle that goes fine but doesn't have the legs to reach the boundary cushion.

Six runs from Alana King's set, all in ones and twos but, of course, it was trying to pinch a quick single that cost Birmingham Phoenix their first wicket.

A pair of singles end that Alana King set, a good one for Phoenix as they take 10 from it.

After a slow start, they are starting to build up a head of steam.

Six! Smashed over cow corner by Sophie Devine, that's a big hit!

The Phoenix opener cleared her front leg and walloped Bryony Smith high and over the rope for the first maximum of the innings.

Two boundaries in the Katherine Sciver-Brunt set for Eve Jones - much-needed for Phoenix.

The first comes as KSB bowls wide of off, Jones throws the bat at it and the ball comes off the toe-end and down to deep third for four.

It's not a clean connection for the second either but it's slightly more controlled by Jones, hitting up and over backward point.
