Superchargers will be looking to restrict them to under 145.

But that was a sensational knock and a clinic in ball-striking from Freya Kemp.

  2. wicket

    Kemp b Cross 31 (Brave 136-5)

Kate Cross, that's how it's done!

She takes the pace off and Freya Kemp takes a premeditated swing, gets a bottom edge and loses her off stump.

A very handy cameo from Kemp comes to an end.

Freya Kemp had a slow start to The Hundred this year but her last couple of innings have been brilliant.

She's picked up where Danni Wyatt left off.

  4. Brave 136-4published at 95 balls

Alice Davidson-Richards goes short again but it's not working.

Freya Kemp moves to 31 from just 16 balls by helping it on its way for four.

That's a proper shot. She gave herself a bit of room to find that angle. It shows how well Tryon is hitting it.

  6. Brave 129-4published at 92 balls

Chloe Tryon gets involved, pulling a short ball from Alice Davidson-Richards for four with real authority.

Brave's innings has been set up brilliantly by Danni Wyatt's half-century.

  8. Brave 124-4published at 90 balls

    10 balls to go.

Brave already have a decent score on this pitch. Can they make it a match-winning one?

Kate Cross is so straight at long-off. She only had seven or eight yards to make up but she couldn't get close to it. Tremendous power from Freya Kemp.

  10. Brave 121-4published at 88 balls

Straight down the ground for four more!

This is turning into a gem of an innings from Freya Kemp.

Baseball style from Frey Kemp. Take that! She's playing a useful hand here.

  12. Brave 116-4published at 85 balls

Freya Kemp is not that bothered by the wickets falling around her.

She helps herself to consecutive fours of Alice Davidson-Richards to continue Brave's surge.

We know what Chloe Tryon can do by playing some big shots. There's enough balls left to get up to a good total.

You don't want to lose wickets in clusters and that's exactly what has happened. Northern Superchargers have started to turn this around.

  15. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 80 balls

    Adams c Wareham b Higham 27 (Brave 105-4)

    Georgia Wareham holds on!

It's a carbon copy of the one she dropped as Georgia Adams slogs one out to deep mid-wicket, and the fielder makes no mistake.

Thankfully, the drop didn't cost too much.

This is proving to be a good fightback from the Superchargers.

  16. Brave 105-3published at 79 balls

Oooh! A couple of close calls for Freya Kemp.

Her first is a heave to deep mid-wicket that lands just short of Kate Cross, the next a high edge that manages to evade two fielders running in.

She's living a charmed life at the moment.

  17. Brave 102-3published at 75 balls

    No Wyatt, no bother.

Freya Kemp whacks her second ball for four.

You have to salute Kate Cross for her composure. She's just had a chance dropped. As a bowler you can let something like that, the frustration, slip into your head. I'd have rocketed it at the stumps, not given a cute little throw.

I think that was the only way the Superchargers were getting Danni Wyatt out today.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 72 balls

Wyatt run out (Cross) 59 (Brave 95-2)

    Oh, that is so unlucky!

Georgia Adams hits the ball back towards Danni Wyatt, it bounces off her bat and into the hands of Kate Cross.

Before Wyatt can really see what's happened, she's set off for a quick single and Cross takes the stumps.

It's a huge wicket and one that will feel much sweeter after the drop of Adams previously.
