Now then! An early strike?
Adam Milne is very enthusiastic about an lbw shout on Bairstow. It's given not out on field, but the bowler convinces his skipper Tim Southee to take a review.
Bit of swing out there for Adam Milne, but Bairstow is solid in defence behind his first ball.
Build-up done, so let's get going.
Jonny Bairstow and Will Jacks are in the middle for England, while Adam Milne has the ball in hand for New Zealand.
New Zealand captain Tim Southee on BBC Two: "We would have had a bat, but I think it's a pretty good surface. Hopefully we can bowl well and restrict them to a decent score.
"Don't read too much into the other night, we were poor in all three areas. All we ask is for guys to improve and be better than the previous game."
England captain Jos Buttler on BBC Two: "I've played a lot of cricket here and I generally like to bat first.
"It looks a good pitch.
"We've just asked Gus Atkinson to be himself. It's a big moment for him and he's an exciting player for us.
"We've come here with a different challenge, different conditions and the other night was brilliant but we've got to park it now.
"We've set that benchmark and we want to try and match that tonight."
James Anderson
England bowler on BBC Two
Carse has been really unlucky with injuries. In the last Ashes, he was in the Lions group that travelled with us. He did his ACL, if it wasn't for that then I think he would have been kept on in that Ashes squad. I'm sure he'll play Test cricket, because he's got the skills to be able to swing the ball, those cutters and subtle variations.
It's Luke Wood that misses out for Gus Atkinson to slot in.
Brydon Carse keeps his place after a very impressive debut a couple of days ago.
James Anderson
England bowler on BBC Two
From an England fan's point of view we should we should be really excited about Gus Atkinson. He's got that x-factor, the extra bit of pace.
A lot of batters I've spoken to around the England group who've played against him in The Hundred have likened him to Jofra Archer - the way he runs in, the snap he's got at the crease. He's bowling 95mph, the highest average speed in The Hundred.
England: Jonny Bairstow, Will Jacks, Dawid Malan, Harry Brook, Jos Buttler (c) (wk), Moeen Ali, Liam Livingstone, Sam Curran, Adil Rashid, Brydon Carse, Gus Atkinson.
New Zealand: Devon Conway, Finn Allen, Tim Seifert (wk), Glenn Phillips, Mark Chapman, Daryl Mitchell, Mitchell Santner, Adam Milne, Ish Sodhi, Tim Southee (c), Lockie Ferguson.
Jos Buttler gets his way, and we'll see England having a bat first.
That means we'll have to wait a little longer to see Atkinson in action, but England's batting line-up remains the same - Bairstow and Jacks opening, with Buttler in the middle order.
It looks like Surrey seamer Gus Atkinson is going to make his England debut tonight.
He was featured as part of our Next Generation series during The Hundred and my colleague Sam Drury has done some digging all about England's new quick.
Can England take a 2-0 lead in the four-match series? Or will New Zealand level it at 1-1?
Stay tuned with us for news from the toss and the teams shortly.

It was a pretty one-sided affair on Wednesday...
