The rain is coming down a little heavier now.
Gunaratne 10, Athapaththu 9 (Target 187)
A great delivery from Gibson to end that over, a brief shout for lbw but England do not have a look at that one. The rain is really coming down now at Hove, not what either side will want.
Gunaratne 10, Athapaththu 9 (Target 187)
This is becoming a bit expensive from Gibson in her first over as Athapaththu thick edges that one away for four. Sri Lanka are steadily getting runs on the board.

It is raining but the umpires don't look bothered.
Gunaratne 9, Athapaththu 4 (Target 187)
The Sri Lanka captain is off the mark, driving that delivery off Gibson for four. A pleasing start to the over for the visitors.
Gunaratne 9, Athapaththu 0 (Target 187)
Gaur's first over in an England shirt goes for seven, largely decent after a bit of a loose start.
It looks like there is quite heavy drizzle, but play continues, Danielle Gibson will bowl next.

England were very confident that there was a nick. Everybody went up together.
But it's a long way away from the bat.
It missed the bat but clipped the leg. England lose a review there but the wide is revoked.
Gunaratne 9, Athapaththu 0 (Target 187)
An unusual review from Heather Knight. That delivery from Gaur had been signalled wide by the umpire.
Gunaratne 9, Athapaththu 0 (Target 187)
A bit wide of off stump there from Gaur and Gunaratne pounces, smashing that for four through the off side.
Gunaratne 5, Athapaththu 0 (Target 187)
That is a great response, half a shout for lbw there as Gunaratne is hit on the pads. Looks like it would have just missed the stumps though.
Gunaratne 5, Athapaththu 0 (Target 187)
Not the start Gaur will have wanted. It was quick, but down the legside and went for three wides. She will get another go at opening the over.
Gunaratne 5, Athapaththu 0 (Target 187)
A solid over for both bat and ball. Cross responds well after giving away that early four -captain Athapaththu almost played herself into trouble with an slightly lofted drive that failed to get much distance on it.
Debutant Mahika Gaur will open from the other end of the ground.
Gunaratne 4, Athapaththu 0 (Target 187)
A great start for Vishmi Gunaratne as she finds a boundary with just the second ball of the innings through the offside. Runs up front feel crucial for Sri Lanka.
The England team are running out on to the field here with the second innings about to get off and running.
A big chance for the bowlers with no Lauren Bell in the side. Mahika Gaur will be hoping to be one of the two bowlers given a four-over allocation.
The experienced Kate Cross will open the bowling for England. Vishmi Gunaratne will face the first delivery.
Thanks, Sam.
It's quite the challenge set for Sri Lanka. If they chase down this target of 187, it would be the second highest successful chase in Women's IT20 history.
You feel that Chamari Athapaththu will be the key to Sri Lanka putting on a good score.
I'm very excited to see debutant Mahika Gaur bowl. She has impressed in The Hundred for Manchester Originals this month.
Alice Capsey really got after the Sri Lanka bowlers and it looks like being a tough chase for the tourists. They need 187 to win.
To see how they get on, it's over to Jonty Colman.
England all-rounder Alice Capsey on Sky Sports: "It's really nice to be back with the group, a bit of a different group but always good to pull on the shirt.
"Bess [Heath] knows a lot of the girls and Mahika [Gaur] is really exciting. Hopefully she goes out and gets a few poles early.
"It was skidding on out there. I had to take time to assess what the pitch was doing and the pace of it but once you got in, it was a lot easier.
"I was just trying to keep it simple and keep to my strengths.
"It's under lights, we'll have to bowl well but hopefully we can get over the line."

A clinic from England, that is how you play a team like Sri Lanka. Experiment, mix up the order and it has worked.
Jones 2, Knight 23
Just a single from the last ball but that's a big, big total for England.
The home side were put in and, even with three overs fewer due to the rain earlier, have put up a total that they'd be happy with in a full 20 overs.
