This is Kuldeep's fifth over and he has only gone for one boundary. He's also taken the crucial wicket of Tanzid. This is a key passage. Bangladesh did so well in the first 15 overs, so don't want to lose that momentum or, crucially, wickets.

It's important Bangladesh don't have the momentum sucked out of their innings as we've seen in other games in this World Cup. It's going to help them that Hardik Pandya is unlikely to bowl again.

  3. Ban 103-1published at 18 overs

Here comes Ravi Jadeja, wearing shades and a headband like Ronnie Wood. Super cricketer, Jadeja. He rattles through his overs, too. Three singles and a two from his first one.

It was a fantastic opening partnership for Bangladesh. Tanzid Hasan was brutal, especially against Shardul Thakur. With Hardik Pandya going off injured after 0.3 overs Thakur is going to have bowl his full his allocation and Bangladesh recognised that. It's a good platform and it's about whether they can capitalise on it now.

Well, Ashwin is a clever man, but I'd like to think he'd put his political aspirations on hold during a World Cup.

I think it is a massive mistake to leave out the incredible Ravi Ashwin. Is there politics at play here?

Not to be gloomy but now we know Bangladesh are going to collapse and falter to 170 all out.

  10. Ban 96-1published at 16 overs

We'll probably have some introspection from Bangladesh for a little while. That would give some respite to Shardul, who has so far bowled a bag of nails. Some of the best shots from Tanzid are here to watch. I'll be honest, I was getting a bit giddy when he was rattling along.

It was a quick decision for Tanzid Hasan. He's come across tried to lift it over the short fine leg and it was hitting him right in line with middle stump.

  12. Ban 94-1published at 15 overs

It was out. Hitting the middle of middle, impact on off stump. I'd be a terrible umpire. Najmul Hossain Shanto, skipper for the day, is the new man. Another left-hander.

Tanzid lbw Kuldeep 51 (Ban 93-1)

Fun over. Relief for India. Tanzid Hasan's fine knock comes to an end. He misses a sweep at Kuldeep Yadav and is sent on his way. He thought about the review, then trudged off. Where did that hit him? I'd like to see it again.

  14. Ban 90-0published at 14 overs

Mark Ealham once held the record for the best figures by an England bowler in an ODI. 5-15 against Zimbabwe. All five were lbw. His son George was a sub fielder for England this summer. Retro England cricketers.

It's been a really good innings from Tanzid Hasan. It's a platform for Bangladesh but we've seen in the World Cup so far teams have not always been able to build on it.

Great knock. 41 balls. Five fours and three sixes. He's led a great start from Bangladesh. If they can kick on to that big total, this one could be box office.

The last time Virat Kohli bowled in an ODI was 2017. The last of his four wickets came in 2014. I still reckon he'd be a better option than Shardul Thakur, who is a poor man's Mark Ealham. Tanzid whallops him for four over cover. Tanzid on 49.

To Prayag: maybe advise that if she pays you, you will vacuum and dust whilst the cricket is on. I’m not sure it’ll go down well but maybe worth a try?

Das punches Kuldeep through the off side for four. I really wouldn't be surprised if Rohit swings for someone here.
