Last over of the powerplay and it's Shubman Gill's turn to clear the ropes!

He nails Nasum Ahmed over long on second ball and then skips down to thump the fourth straight back over the bowler's head.

Superb hitting.

There was a bit of swing in the first couple of overs but there has been no lateral movement since for the Bangladesh bowlers.

Hasan Mahmud has started well, though, and his latest over costs just two singles, the second of which brings up the fifty partnership.

Rohit sweeps so well away to the boundary, the fielder didn't even attempt to stop it.

It looked as though we were going to have a repeat of Nasum Ahmed's last over as Rohit Sharma smashes the first ball for four - on the sweep this time - then plays out five dots.

We get up to four dot balls before Rohit nudges the last to square leg for a single.

Sho: We're at least 80 runs short. Formality for India.

Just two more from Hasan Mahmud's first over, a decent one from the Bangladesh seamer with the four of those runs coming off the edge.

Just as I said Gill was looking nice and calm, he whacks one away for four. Not sure where that was meant to go.

Shubman Gill is down the pitch to Hasan Mahmud, attempts a big drive and the ball flies off the outside edge and down to deep third for four.

It's all going India's way at the moment.

Rohit is just so languid, sometimes it can be mistaken for laziness.

Nasum Ahmed comes back very well after the boundary first ball and reels off five dots in a row to Rohit Sharma.

That's no mean feat when Rohit is in this kind of form.

Too short from Nasum Ahmed and that allows Rohit Sharma to pounce on the fraction of width and cut past point for his sixth boundary.

While Rohit Sharma is in full flow already, Shubman Gill is taking the opportunity to get himself set.

India are already well ahead of the rate thanks to their skipper's early aggression.

Pumped over mid-off for four!

There is no stopping Rohit Sharma when he's in this kind of form.

That was a perfectly good delivery from Shoriful Islam and it's disappeared to the boundary.

Just two singles from the over and nearly a wicket from the last ball for Nasum Ahmed.

Shubman Gill goes back and tries to open the face to guide the ball through short third but it skids on, takes the inside edge and just misses leg stump.
