Mitchell Starc is the new man. An hour ago he was definitely thinking he wouldn't have to bat today. One over to go.

Clubbed to deep mid-wicket. Sub fielder Shadab Khan takes the catch and he is wringing his hand.
That went flat to him.
Labuschagne c sub (Shadab) b Haris 8 (Aus 360-7)
And another. Marnus Labuschagne, very much a superhero sidekick, Robin to a Batman, nails Haris Rauf to deep mid-wicket. Hard, low, flat. Australia have lost four wickets for 35 runs.

Anyone here got a feeling England are going to lose to South Africa in two sporting formats tomorrow?
Norman the pessimist, Milford.
Which, of course, leads to the question of what sort of superhero Cummins would be. After the performance over the Bairstow stumping earlier this year, he's not going to be the guardian of the spirit of cricket, is he?
That's right. I went there.

Looking at where they were, Australia would have to admit they would want to be in a more comfortable position than they're at now.
Pat Cummins is the new man. As we know, he's a handsome chap, but he often looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders. A bit like Bruce Wayne in Batman. I'd be interested to know if Cummins leads a double-life as a superhero.

Three reds. They get Stoinis and that is important for Pakistan.
Australia haven't completely taken advantage of the 259-run opening partnership.
Stoinis lbw Shaheen 21 (Aus 354-6)
That's a very bad review from Stoinis. A time-waster. Penalise them some runs. Or throw them out of the tournament.

It has hit him in front and that looks pretty good.

Stoinis felt like he had to try something, went for the dink and missed it.
Aus 354-6
Out, surely. Just out.
Stoinis is trying to scoop Shaheen, but looks to be losing his middle stump.

Pakistan look mentally shot at the moment, just waiting for something to happen.
This is good from Haris, who rolls his fingers over a couple of off-cutters and has Stoinis swiping. Three to go. I honestly think it's a decent result if Pakistan keep this to about 380.

Love it. That's the mindset that Marnus Labuschagne has to be in.

That was a tennis forehand from Marnus Labuschagne.
Marnus has struggled to get going, but finds his first boundary with a swat through the off side for four off Haris Rauf.

Babar will have serious questions over his captaincy after this tournament

Timing from Stoinis. He pushes a wide one over the in field on the off side for four. Four overs to go. 400 probably a stretch from here.
Afridi is back, left arm round, casting shadows from the floodlights in all directions. Decent start. Just a single off the first three balls.
