  1. 150 runs

    Aus 303-3

The Reverend goes past 150. A few times he has biffed Usama Mir over cow corner and David Warner is at it again, Slog sweep into the crowd. 200 definitely on for Davey.

  3. Aus 297-3published at 40 overs

Warner's highest score, by the way, is 179. The highest score by an Australia is 185 not out by Shane Watson against Bangladesh in 2011. He probably used up a couple of reviews getting there.

Warner didn't move out of his crease at all. That was all timing.

  5. Aus 289-3published at 39 overs

Marcus Stoinis is the new man, condemning Marnus Labuschagne to more sliding down the slippery pole. Stoinis watches on as Warner plays another lovely drive through the covers for four.

That was a very scratchy innings from Steve Smith. He was dropped earlier and he didn't look like himself at all today.

There have been balls that have gripped and turned. This one just stopped on Smith a little bit.

No real celebration. It was a pretty good take because it was well timed by Steve Smith.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 38.1 overs

    Smith c&b Mir 7 (Aus 284-3)

That was a pretty woeful knock from Steve Smith. Dropped in the previous Usama Mir over, now he has patted back a return catch. Mir, true to Pakistan's one-in-two catching record, hangs on this time.

Amazing hands from David Warner. There was very little pace on the ball, very little width but that was all about the magic of Warner's hands.

That was a forearm smash more than anything from David Warner. Amazing shot.

  11. Aus 284-2published at 38 overs

And again. Another bang average delivery from Shaheen, a slower ball, but in the wrong half. It's so bad, Warner shows impressive strength to muscle through cove for four more.

Just stand and deliver, really. There was a fielder at short mid-wicket but he could only stand there and watch it whizz past him.

  13. Aus 280-2published at 37.3 overs

Warner is back up and running. Shaheen Afridi drops shirt and Warner nails a pull to the fence.

England are doing poorly AND the Aussies are doing well AND David Warner has hit a fabulous century? Oh my, I feel unwell!

  15. Aus 274-2published at 37 overs

Australia looked nailed on for well in excess of 400, but they have had three quiet overs since the two in two. This latest from Usama Mir is another one without a boundary. How many could Pakistan chase? They knocked off 345 against Sri Lanka with 10 balls to spare.

Travis Head has now arrived in India and will meet up with the rest of the Australia team in Delhi.

But the question is: when he is fit, who does he come in for?

  17. Aus 269-2published at 36 overs

Marnus Labuschagne has his pads on to come in next. I'd like to see Inglis or Stoinis strapping the mums and dads on. Those wickets have managed to slow the scoring. We've gone two overs without a boundary, which is a lifetime in this match.

Did that carry? It went very low to Babar Azam at slip but it was dipping.

It did carry. Put that down as a third drop from Pakistan today.

  19. dropped catch

Smith dropped on onepublished at 35 overs

    Aus 264-2

    Dropped again!

Steve Smith, who probably didn't have his pads on five minutes ago, is put down at slip. Driving at one Usama Mir gets to turn, Babar Azam puts it down, low to the ground.

That was remarkable from Glenn Maxwell. If he'd stayed in his normal stance and played as if he was starting a normal innings, he probably would have pumped it for six.

Instead, he's ballooned it straight up.
