Australia with more than a dash of relief as that decision is overturned.

Iftikhar Ahmed walks off but he has changed the feeling in this game, the impetus but has he got Pakistan close enough?

    Gone!

Huge moment. Iftikhar Ahmed got into a tangle trying to be cute, rather than sticking to whacking it. The bat was too late on a straight one from Adam Zampa. It just flicked the back pad and was in front of middle.

I wonder if that hit the pad before it hit the bat.

This is a big moment. Adam Zampa wants another look at a shout against Iftikhar. Pad first?

  5. Pak 269-4published at 38.3 overs

I'd love to have the mindset of thinking I could hit five sixes to catch up. I can't hit it off the square.

Pakistan need 103 from 72 balls so the deficit is 31. That's five sixes so the way for them to look at it is, if we hit five sixes and go at a run a ball, we win the game.

It won't happen exactly that way but that is a way to take pressure off yourself. You will get more boundaries and eat into that deficit but they're controlling it well so far.

Dennis Ethan: If this partnership holds, Pakistan can win this at a canter and I really want them to win because that was senseless batting from Australia.

We want cricket to be the winner, Jon.

Though, clearly, no one likes a happy Aussie.

Who, as an England supporter, should we be hoping wins this to help improve our chances of getting through? Regardless, I'm supporting Pakistan to chase this down.

The Aussies are looking worried. Iftikhar has strolled off the bench and started whacking it all around Bangalore. 27 have come off the last two overs.

The ball bounces back off the sightscreen, Iftikhar like a basketball player shooting from half-court, off the back board and down through the hoop.

Iftikhar is good enough to hit every single short ball for six.

Australia know that if there is a chance to get him out, it is with the longer leg-side boundary but he hits this back straight.

At it again! Just muscled down the ground off Stoinis. Ifitkhar has 21 from 13 balls. He had two off his first eight.

That's even bigger! That has gone 30 rows back. It has soared away into the Bangalore darkness.

Even bigger! Just a clip off the toes, but it's gone miles over square leg. Half an hour of this and Pakistan are right in the fun zone.

That was all timing. Josh Hazlewood is the tallest fielder out there and if anyone was going to catch it, it was him but he had no chance.

It's about time for Iftikhar now, I think he's seeing it. You have to give players the space to get themselves in and he's dead-batted a few.

But he knows that if he gets in and goes big, these two can bring it very close, if not bring it home for Pakistan.
