Here is how Babar Azam fell a few moments ago. A big, big wicket for Afghanistan.

  3. Pak 209-5published at 43 overs

Iftikhar Ahmed, who has dropped a place in the order, strides out to the middle and has little time to get his eye in. Pakistan need runs and quick.

Rashid Khan races through his ninth over and keeps the pressure on, with just three singles coming off it.

What a wonderful spell from Noor Ahmed. Taking 3-49 off 10 overs, playing for the first time in this World Cup and taking the big wicket of Babar Azam.

Noor Ahmad, playing just his fourth ODI and making his World Cup debut, ends his spell with career-best figures of 3-49.

    A star in the making?

It's straight into the throat of the cover fielder. The easiest of catches. Babar was well set, looking dangerous. He wanted to hit it too hard rather than picking the gaps.

Pakistan need to get Iftikhar in here and they are back in the game.

And now Babar Azam is out!

It is short and wide from Noor Ahmad, Babar rocks back and looks to power it through the covers, but can only pick out Mohammad Nabi, who barely had to move.

Afghanistan hit back just as Pakistan were looking to seize the momentum.

That's gone a long way back from Babar Azam!

    No doubts about that shot.

Babar Azam has clubbed Noor Ahmad back over his head for six.

Just the fourth six of the Pakistan innings so far.

What a try, Noor had to really run 10 to 15 yards and it is a good job he did. It can sometimes be a little bit dangerous, it can ricochet and hit your face. He did really well. I am really impressed with the fielding effort from Afghanistan in the last 15 to 20 overs, they've been really on top of their game.

  11. Pak 196-4published at 41 overs

What an effort that was from Noor Ahmad.

Babar Azam skies a drive and Noor comes hurtling in from long-on to try and take the catch, but it lands just short and the teenager has to protect himself as the ball lands just in front of him.

Rashid Khan applauds his team-mate for the effort.

It's a very sad day around Bishan Singh Bedi. I knew him personally, he was a very sweet, humble guy. My thoughts are with his family and friends. It is devastating news. He had been struggling with his health in recent times, I've very devastated hearing this news.

He was ahead of his time in left-arm spin. There was no TV back then and there was not much coverage, the sound it made, he got so many revs. A great bowler. He has left a legacy behind him as a person, cricketer, administrator, coach.

I am very, very upset and sad this has happened.

    Thanks, Callum.

This looks a tough pitch to bat on, but you'd think Pakistan need to put the foot on the accelerator as we enter the final 10 overs if they are to post a competitive score.

Rashid Khan is back into the attack for his eighth over of the match.

Time for me to take a break.

Tom Mallows will take you through the final 10 overs of the Pakistan innings and beyond.

    Enjoy.

  15. Pak 191-4published at 40 overs

    Almost a very weird wicket!

Babar Azam looks to pull away but gets an under-edge into his ankle.

The balls pops up and hits Ikram Alikhil in the left thigh, but he can't readjust his hands in time to gather the ball as it falls down.

It feels like Babar is starting to get rather frustrated.

We've got a delay here as the stumps appear not to be working. There's three umpires and a technician out here. Ikram Alikhil looks like a guilty child who has just knocked over a lamp.

We've got a delay because the zinger bails have decided to stop working after Ikram Alikhil whips them off attempting to run Babar Azam out.

    Technology, eh?

The boundaries had dried up. It was way too short and Babar was eyeing up that cow corner gap. It was a lovely strike.
