It feels as if Pakistan are running against a strong wind. Aiden Markram has been excellent so far in this World Cup.

  2. SA 237-6published at 38 overs

    Target 272

    It's tense.

The equation is simple - 34 from 72 balls. But the dot balls are racking up and Pakistan are very, very pumped.

  3. SA 235-6published at 37 overs

    Target 272

Gerald Coetzee is in at eight.

I don't know anything about his abilities with the bat but he seems like a player who's up for a fight. He's just got to hang around with Aiden Markram here.

Not the easiest of catches, a smart catch. Easily poached. A better catch, a better ball.

I can't believe Marco Jansen has done that!

    Jansen c Babar b Rauf 20 (SA 235-6)

    Ah. Sorry, Marco.

He can't quite believe what he's done, slashing a short and wide ball from Haris Rauf straight to Babar Azam at point.

It was asking to be hit for four. Jansen looks to the sky in frustration.

    Is there a twist?!

Can he do it in a chase?

It seems so. Marco Jansen launches one into the stands!

Here's how Shaheen got the big scalp of David Miller a couple of overs ago.

  9. SA 224-5published at 36 overs

    Target 272

    Pressure = eased.

Markram slams four down the ground, and Jansen repeats the dose two balls later.

Jansen then looks to have repeated the shot but it pins Wasim in the foot in his follow through.

    Saves four, but ouch.

    No.

    A waste of a review.

Has he got Aiden Markram straight away? What an impact this would be.

It looks like the keeper Rizwan is more keen for this one. Babar Azam is persuaded to send it upstairs.

Babar Azam continues to rotate his quicks.

Here's Mohammad Wasim who has been fantastic so far with 2-33 - including the huge wicket of Heinrich Klaasen.

  13. SA 214-5published at 35 overs

    Target 272

Marco Jansen plays a brave reverse sweep that evades Shaheen Afridi at short third.

In a battle of the tall fast bowlers, Shaheen gives chase and way too much time is spent checking whether it's a boundary or not. It's easily saved, and just the two runs.

Pakistan are always entertainers but one of the best thing about watching their games is whenever the camera picks out Mickey Arthur.

    His expressions are top value.

Against Afghanistan last week it was usually a combination of bewilderment and rage. Today is harder to read, maybe because there's actually some hope involved?

It's quite expansive from Marco Jansen for a first ball. It looks and feels like a close game.

Marco Jansen was superb against England with his 75. But he had a platform and the freedom to play so expansively.

He's only 23 years old so this'll be a big test of his all-round capabilities, to do it under the pressure of a nervy chase.

He swings and misses at his first delivery before Shaheen bangs in a nasty short ball. It's getting fiery out there.

Dare I say it ... will this be... a close finish?

This is the test, the proper test. 65 needed off 101, can South Africa bring themselves home. They have to decide do they want to take some time or bring themselves home.

South Africa can still lose this game, they are not out of the woods yet. This is will show how strong Marco Jansen is with the bat.

    Miller c Rizwan b Shaheen 29 (SA 206-5)

    Big, big moment.

Babar Azam turned to his main man at the time of need and Shaheen does the job for him. Good length, quick, and a little feather from Miller through to the keeper.

Pakistan are understandably delighted with that breakthrough. That partnership was taking the game away.

It's a low catch taken by Rizwan, Miller is standing his ground. Are Pakistan going to review?

    Hello!

    Is this the game-changer?

Shaheen Afridi is convinced he has David Miller caught behind.
