When the drinks come on and Virat Kohli sinks to his knees, you know it is uncomfortable out there because he is one of the fittest players around.
Thanks, Jonty.
Sri Lanka have finally broken a 189-run stand but India still look on track for a score well in advance of 350.
Shreyas Iyer is the new batter, he joins Virat Kohli who is unbeaten on 87.
That wicket also brings a change in our live text.
I shall hand you over to Sam Drury to take you through the rest of this first innings.

Slower delivery and there was no real room for Shubman Gill to work with.
He plays that shot well but with no pace on that, he didn't get the timing right and gloves it through to Kusal Mendis.

Shubman Gill goes for a very well made 92. It's been lovely to watch but that's the wicket Sri Lanka so desperately wanted.
Gill c Mendis b Madushanka 92 (Ind 193-2)
Breakthrough!
The slower ball from Madushanka gets the wicket of Gill, who had started to smack it about to all corners of the Wankhede Stadium, but a top edge gifts Mendis a catch and Madushanka claims his second scalp.
Just shy of a century, but Gill still lifts his bat as he trudges off the field. A great innings.
Brutal hitting from Gill, pulling that shot hard for four.
Madushanka and Sri Lanka must know that bowling there to Gill will only end one way, pulled over mid-wicket and running for four.
He sits on 90 off 90.

That didn't look good. It looked like I was fielding that.
Mathews should have done much better, it went straight through him.
A poor over from Hemantha ends with a four, with 13 runs coming in total from it.
Gill ends the over with a cut shot to backward point, but the shot goes straight through Angelo Mathews and for four runs.
Both batters sit on 86. The race to 100 is on.

Oh, here comes Gill and he whacks that for six. Dead straight, great use of the feet.
You feel the charge is on. This could be entertaining.
A big, big shot from Gill. Down the ground and six!
Hemantha has been a touch on the expensive side so far and Gill exposes it, coming down the track and crashing the ball straight into the sightscreen.
India's batters are finding an answer for everything Sri Lanka are trying right now.
Chameera started the over with three dot balls, but it ended with a six and then two singles. Eight runs in total.
This partnership sits on 168 runs off 167 balls, not too far away from a double century stand.

You can say it. The same pitch England got absolutely marmalised on.

It's the same pitch that... how do I say it?
First six of the day, pumped away by Shubman Gill.
He had been the quieter of India's two batters in the past few overs, but Chameera's attempt to go short backfires, with Gill pulling that over deep mid-wicket for six.
The pitch is looking very batter-friendly, not for the first time in this World Cup...

The two games Sri Lanka won have been chasing. In the last year, most of the games they've won have been chasing so I think that's why they chose to field.
They are hoping it will get easier to bat but they were also hoping to restrict India. This will be hurting, they've had their opportunities.
Sri Lanka have been a couple of overs behind the clock in this innings, but Theekshana rattles through this one.
Just two singles come from it, an improvement on the previous over.
Still, Kohli and Gill have not been tested by the bowlers for some time really.

It's all a bit sloppy for Sri Lanka after an impressive seven or eight overs.
Streaky there from Chameera, with India's batters scoring 11 runs from the over, starting with that drive from Kohli.
