Rachel T: Take a bow David Willey! Actually no, don’t, just carry on bowling peaches like that!
David Willey, face full of grumpy snarl as is his bowling manner, continues.
He holds pace off and draws Part Cummins into skewing a leading edge in the point region but it evades the fielder.
Cummins then drives the penultimate ball of Willey's over down the ground but Joe Root is able to produce a fine diving stop to prevent the boundary.

There are lots of England fans here today, I assume having booked in the expectation of Jos Buttler's side pushing for a semi-final place in this game. I chatted to one at breakfast this morning who was just hoping England would compete.
Adil Rashid bowls his final over and dangles the carrot to the Australia skipper Pat Cummins with a bit of flight. Cummins refuses to nibble, though.
Rashid finishes with 2-38 from his 10 overs. Top stuff.

England doing what they've done in the past few years - just getting wickets at key times. Every time you think a partnership's set, England take a wicket. It was there to be hit, he just missed.
Green b Willey 47 (Aus 223-6
Cameron Green steps across his stumps goes down on one knee and attempts to slog sweep David Willey through fine leg.
He ends up with egg on his face, though, as the ball scuttles through to hit his leg stump. A key wicket at the business end of the innings.
Useful bowling from Willey.

Not a good ball from Chris Woakes. I don't know whether he dragged it down on purpose or by accident but there's no-one at mid-wicket and easy to hit it in front of square.
The answer is always yes, Matthew.
Marcus Stoinis picks up the length of a short ball from Chris Woakes midway through the over and confidently sends it to the fence with a clinical pull.

Do I dare add these green chillis to the sandwiches on offer in the media centre?
There's definitely been an intensity to England's approach hitherto absent from previous matches. For once they look, well, actually up for it.
Amid all the discussions around their struggles at this tournament I don't think there has been much focus on whether they they are simply hungry enough.
Speaking of hunger...

England's ground fielding has been really good today, they have thrown themselves at everything.

James Gulleford: Good to see the improvements from England’s bowling today and against India, but I fear it means nothing because the batting has been so bad. Australia probably already have enough runs!
The third umpire correctly determines from the TV replay that Cameron Green is home.

The stumps have been broken but Rashid doesn't have much of a throw. Willey had to gather the ball and dive. I think he's back.
A yes, no interlude between Marcus Stoinis and Cameron Green sees the latter forced to turn on his heels and dive back to make his ground at the non-striker's end.
Good fielding from Adil Ashid at mid-wicket helped on to the stumps by David Willey.

It's clear this is a pitch you have to graft on for runs, smashing a ton off 70 balls isn't going to happen - so we're finished.

Been some good cricket in this contest hasn't there? England actually look capable of stringing a performance together.
A glimmer of a run-out chance off the final ball of Chris Woakes' over but Cameron Green manages to use his go-go Gadget arms to get his bat over the line. Dawid Malan's throw misses anyway.
Here's that Marcus Stoinis six from earlier - only Australia's second of the innings.

Australia still on for 300ish unless we can bowl them out. Game far from over.

Chris Woakes back into the attack but Cameron Green is in a good rhythm here.
It's a good line and length from Woakes but Green gives himself just a wee bit of room and drives it, gloriously, through the covers for four.
Possibly the shot of the day.
Pak 160-1 (21.3 overs, target 402)
More good news for Pakistan as the rain starts to fall, and they are 10 runs ahead of the par DLS score.
There are some glum New Zealand faces out there, and they will be hoping that it's just a passing shower.
Who would have thought that would be the case after posting 401 and taking a wicket in the second over?
