Do you realise the central contracts cover all formats of the game, Kaden?

Joe Root is still England's main batter in Test cricket despite his current 50-over troubles.

But, who hasn't struggled in this tournament?

What is Joe Root doing in the England side? I know his average is 47 in ODIs but I’ve calculated his average over his last 10 games - it's 26.4 runs per game. For a so called important batsmen in the England side he has been shocking. Should not have been offered a blockbuster contract.

This is the Chris Woakes we know. He's had a really quiet tournament with the bat but he's playing really nicely here.

A decent over for the Netherlands though, with just four runs coming off Paul van Meekeren.

England have still got a bit of batting to come which is why the score predictor is as high as it is.

I think England will want at least 300 if not more...

This partnership is becoming profitable for England. Chris Woakes plays a gorgeous shot away through long-off, before tucking off his hips for four more.

Stephan Shemilt, who will be joining you again for the second innings, says England already have enough to win this game. Feel free to screenshot this.

Someone has had to explain that to me, Tom.

    Gladiators?

Apparently I should be old enough to remember that but literally zero recollection.

I once met Wolf when he opened the local Argos. Being 6 at the time, I was suitably terrified....

I'm not saying this is a perfect pitch, but it's certainly a good pitch to play on today.

Woakes is timing this ball, I dare say, better than most.

This is turning out to be a good over so far.

Lovely shot from Chris Woakes. He beautifully pierces the gap between mid-off and extra cover to pick up his first boundary.

He and Stokes are working the ball around nicely at the moment.

I wonder if the plan is to stretch out the innings for the next five overs. Then hit on from the 43rd over.

Just falling short. I think he might of had a little problem spotting the ball. He had a smirk on his face. It's that time of the evening, it's kind of twilight ish.

Another chance. England just constantly offer them up, don't they?

Ben Stokes tries to swivel pull/flick for six but it almost carries all the way to Aryan Dutt at fine leg. He can't quite get there though, but does well to keep it to a single.

Chris Woakes looks in decent touch though, picking up a couple with a pat down the ground.

I can't understand why Moeen gets picked. I know we don't have many spinners, but he's yet to take a wicket this World Cup and very rarely offers more than about 15 runs to the batting line-up.

This ground isn’t really in Pune. It’s way out in the outskirts of the city amid a lot of construction work.

Aryan Dutt has been really impressive for the Netherlands in this tournament.

He whizzes through another over, conceding four.

Here's how we picked up the wicket of Moeen Ali.

S Club 7, Take That and Dua Lipa.

There's been a few festivals with the likes of Beyonce and Rihanna too.

Stokes was running quite well between the wickets. He didn't look like his leg was about to fall off.

The fielding coach said, Ben Stokes love playing for England, so any chance he gets, he will be there.

Those two weeks extra rest before the Tests, seems logical to most.

    Stokes 40, Woakes 4

It's been 50 balls and 57 minutes since the last boundary now.

Chris Woakes and Ben Stokes work Bas de Leede around for six runs.

Work there way up to 250? Is that the plan?
