There's an issue with the ball that delays Atkinson's new over. I'll be honest, it's all a bit subdued out there.

The dew in this World Cup is like hat-tricks. We've spent a lot of time talking about it but it's never really happened.
Target 340
Moeen Ali comes on to bowl his off-breaks. The Dutch required rate is in excess of eight. A misfield by Jonny Bairstow at mid-off allows Barresi to pinch a couple. "I don't do pigs in blankets because I don't like streaky bacon" is a new low in the Christmas debate.

Atkinson immediately digs up the ground with his spikes, proper fast bowler stuff, as if it's someone else's fault. Chris Woakes was also asking for sawdust.
Target 340
Gus Atkinson is into the attack. He's already got his pace up. Engelbrecht is hurried into a pull, but still gets enough on it for four over mid-on. Cranberry sauce and mince pies are the festive traditions currently under fire here.

If Barresi keeps batting this over out like this, it puts so much pressure on the rest of his team-mates.
Target 340
As the Netherlands struggle against some excellent bowling, the subject of Christmas has been raised at BBC towers. I had my first festive sandwich the other day. Never too early. However, my level of enthusiasm is not matched by my colleagues.

Of the first 49 balls of this innings, 40 of them were dots.
Target 340
Woakes has got it on a string here. A beautiful arc away from the right-handed Barresi. A single from the final ball of the over is the first run for 14 balls.

The required run rate is already up to 7.6 an over.
Target 340
Engelbrecht had pretty much given up playing cricket until he moved from his native South Africa to the Netherlands. Not too long later he got picked to play at the World Cup. He made his ODI debut earlier in the tournament. He sees off the Willey over.

John Petrie: Willey has done more to justify a central contract than many of those who have actually been given a central contract.
Target 340
Wesley Barresi is clinging on. He's faced 27 balls for his nine. England were 48-1 at this stage.

The win predictor says England have a 97% chance of winning this game, just 3% for the Netherlands. However, after last night, be very wary of the win predictor.
Target 340
Chris Woakes isn't happy with where he's landing, so a member of the groundstaff runs out a bucket of sawdust.
More than 100 years of innovation in the sport and we still have to evict a hamster when the ground gets a bit wet.

Buttler’s had a horror World Cup but on form he’s still one of the best in the world. Take the pressure of captaincy off him, we need an overhaul anyway so bring someone in with the leadership skills needed. Morgan wasn’t at his best towards the end, but he made sure he took the pressure so everyone around him could perform.

Target 340
I'm happy to report that Jos Buttler didn't leave the field at the fall of the wicket. Sybrand Engelbrecht is the new man. A battler. He gets away with an edge. Where's the second slip?

Maybe David Willey has a point or two to prove?

It's a good channel, full of length and it goes on with the angle. It's Ackermann's second ball, the perfect angle left arm over the wicket. Willey has bowled a great line and length. I don't understand what they've done with David Willey.
Ackermann c Buttler b Willey 0 (Ned 13-2)
Another goes! This time it's David Willey. Colin Ackermann was looking for swing back in, but instead this has gone on with the arm. It's a simple catch through to Jos Buttler.
