It maybe would have missed leg stump.

Is this the moment for India?

Jasprit Bumrah hits Marnus Labusachagne on the boot with an in-swinging yorker. But is it doing too much?

    Rohit Sharma sends it upstairs.

    Four more!

Crunched back past the bowler this time by Travis Head. The mid-off and mid-on fielders converge but neither can cut it off.

The moment of magic India need has not been forthcoming.

Jasprit Bumrah is back on but he's dismissively whipped over the leg side. A one-bounce four.

    Aus 148-3published at 27 overs

    Target 241

This India side have been electric throughout this tournament but they are devoid of any spark whatsoever at the moment.

The fourth single of the Ravindra Jadeja over brings up the hundred partnership between Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne.

It is greeted by total silence.

If Australia do manage to get over the line from here, I don't know if they'll be lifting the trophy in an empty stadium or a stadium packed to the rafters with fans sat in stunned silence...?

The dew here has been massive for the past couple of nights, so for that reason I don't see why Rohit would have batted. You have to give credit to Cummins.

  9. Aus 144-3published at 26 overs

    Target 241

Marnus Labuschagne gets in a tangle trying to pull Mohammed Shami away and gets a top-edge.

The ball hangs in the air but doesn't carry to Jasprit Bumrah at fine leg. That is the closest to a chance there has been in some time!

No chance for anyone here, though. Banged in short again and Travis Head hammers it to the fence on the pull.

It seems like Australia are cruising with these two out there.

  11. Aus 139-3published at 25.1 overs

    Target 241

    Glorious drive from Marnus Labuschagne!

Too full and too wide from Mohammed Shami and Labuschagne drills it through the covers for four.

Travis Head is playing a fine hand, a much different innings to his knock in the semi-final.

  13. Aus 135-3published at 25 overs

    Target 241

Lovely late cut from Travis Head.

The ball from Ravindra Jadeja is quite tight to him and gets up more than expected but Head is still able to get on top of it and dab the ball away fine for four.

Halfway through the innings and Australia are in a brilliant position. The noise (or lack thereof) from the crowd suggests they know it.

Australia's worm has now caught India's. Game on!

Mohammed Shami comes back well after that first-ball boundary, just a single from the next five.

The crowd try to bring about a wicket form the last, really making some noise as Shami runs in but Marnus Labuschagne is forward to defend comfortably.

That's not the worst delivery in the world, but Head has plonked it down the ground for four.

  17. Aus 126-3published at 23.1 overs

    Target 241

    Shot!

Length delivery, angled in at the left-hander but Travis Head gets a stride in and pumps the ball back over Mohammed Shami's head.

    One bounce for four.

  18. Aus 122-3published at 23 overs

    Target 241

India are really struggling to build any sort of pressure at the moment.

Ravindra Jadeja is milked for five singles in his latest over.

Here comes Mohammed Shami to try and break open an end.

Head hits the ball in unusual areas and puts the pressure back on the opposition. When he's on, he hits good balls for four.
