  1. drinks break

    Aus 93-3published at 17 overs

    Target 241

    Aaron Finch may be right.

Travis Head greets Mohammed Siraj with a thunderous drive, but it finds the fielder.

He manages to pick the gap later in the over though, picking up a boundary.

He's up to 40 and Marnus Labuschagne is on 10.

Time for a drinks break, and the light show. Quite the spectacle.

I think we'll see Travis Head go after Mohammed Siraj.

A return to pace as Mohammed Siraj replaces Ravindra Jadeja.

I reckon Rohit Sharma thinks he needs a wicket, and pronto.

He's picked that up from absolutely nowhere. He was playing within himself, very calm, and just seemed like he wanted to remind India what he can do.

  5. 6 runs

    Shot!

India really struggled to find boundaries outside of the powerplay in their innings and there were signs of that in the cause, but this is superb from Travis Head.

He gets down and slog sweeps Kuldeep Yadav. He connects really well and it goes about 10 rows back over mid-wicket.

Even when you know the equation is simple, doing it against Jadeja is a different story. He is incredibly skilful, and the pace at which he gets through his overs makes you feel so rushed.

  7. Aus 78-3published at 15 overs

    Target 241

Four more singles. We're in milking stage.

Australia won't mind it. The longer they milk, the more comfortable they'll look I reckon.

Even if it's a slow partnership, it doesn't matter. The run-rate doesn't matter at this stage. Just wear the bowlers down, make them go searching for wickets.

  9. Aus 74-3published at 14 overs

    Target 241

Four singles from Kuldeep Yadav's second over.

This is good from Australia. The decibel levels are dropping slowly in Ahmedabad.

I forgot how quickly Ravi Jadeja gets through his overs. I can barely string three words together.

Ravindra Jadeja rattles through another over. He makes live texters earn their corn.

    Two singles from the over.

It's gripping cricket. I much prefer it like this, chasing 240 on a tricky pitch, bowlers in the game.

  15. Aus 68-3published at 12 overs

    Target 241

Double spin for India as Kuldeep Yadav comes on too.

Australia milk him for three singles.

They can afford to do that with the required run-rate at just 4.55.

Jadeja was convinced. He was sprinting all the way down the middle of the pitch.

  20. Aus 65-3published at 11 overs

    Target 241

Our first look at spin in the chase as Ravindra Jadeja comes on.

He starts with a leg-side wide which KL Rahul misses so Australia add two.

There's then a half-hearted appeal for an lbw, before an absolutely huge one to end the over.

Jadeja was convinced, he went running down the middle of the pitch during his appeal.

There was spin there, but it felt like it was drifting down.
