Given it is twin spin both batters are wearing caps, which I am always a big fan of. Very old school.

That has woken them up.

Shreyas Iyer has carted a fuller ball over the covers and away for four to ruin what had previously been another tight over from Keshav Maharaj.

They're taking a chance running to Bavuma, he's one of the fastest fielders in the world.

Cool as you like from Shreyas Iyer as he steps right across his stumps before the faintest off flicks off the pad and away for four. He was inches away from playing on, there.

India then test the arm of Temba Bavuma as they go for a quick single. They just about scramble home, but a direct hit would have been interesting.

Just three singles follow off the rest of Keshav Maharaj's over.

You could feel the tension in the crowd while they were waiting for that Virat Kohli DRS decision. The stadium absolutely erupted when it was given not out.

There's one thing you don't do is challenge Virat Kohli about a decision at the crease. He normally gets a hundred after that if you do.

Not out! There's nothing on snicko when the ball goes past the bat. It looks like the noise Quinton de Kock heard was bat on pad.

This is turning into a fascinating contest. India made a pulsating start but have been well pegged back by South Africa.

Slightly errant start from Tabraiz Shamsi, beginning with a leg side wide and sending another one down two balls later.

But he tightens up and finishes with four dot balls and draws a leading edge from Iyer, landing in a gap in front of the covers.

I think South Africa's unity and team work has stood out. There's a lot of guys who have shown their experience of playing in the IPL. I would say what stands out is the batting line-up. All of them seem to be in form.
