South Africa skipper Temba Bavuma: "Looking at the wicket we would have batted first, but chasing will be a nice responsibility for us.
"It will be a nice challenge and an area we would like to get more experience. It would be nice to get over the line doing that.
"We have put in good all-round performances. The batters are smashing it, bowlers have been consistent too, so we are looking for little areas to improve. So far so good."
India captain Rohit Sharma: "It looks like a good pitch but honestly it's more about what we want to do as a team. We want to challenge ourselves whatever the conditions.
"It's going to be a good game and two teams who are near the top playing good cricket and consistent cricket. It would be nice to come out on top. I love playing here as a player and team. it's a beautiful ground and a historic ground, too.
"We don't need to change anything in the team. We have come across well in this tournament. The bowlers have done the job so far."
India: Rohit Sharma (c), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj

India captain Rohit Sharma has won the toss and chosen to have a bat.

South Africa have only batted second twice in this tournament - their one defeat to the Netherlands and their tight win over Pakistan.
Two teams facing off in Kolkata, but half an eye on Ahmedabad in two weeks time?
It's table topping India versus second-placed South Africa. Is this a rehearsal for the final?
Time to put down a marker.
