Close but the England opener survives and three singles keep the tourists ticking over at the end of the over.
A hint of width from Romario Shepherd and Will Jacks is onto it in a flash.
Nailed over the covers for four. Top shot.

Chris Jones: Caught first slip leaving a ball in a ODI is very on brand for the mercurial Zak Crawley
Another good over from Matthew Forde and nearly a third wicket as well.
Will Jacks pushed at one but is through the shot early on a slightly sticky surface and the ball loops into the leg side - but just short of the mid-wicket fielder.
A good over for England but bad news on the weather front.
Dark clouds are gathering overhead at the Kensington Oval and I fear the rain may be back with us soon.
Eventful over and a good battle.
Ben Duckett drives through the covers for two but is then beaten by some extra pace and bounce from Romario Shepherd as he tries to repeat the trick.
The left-hander comes back fighting, though, and pulls smartly over mid-wicket for four!
A solid drive to the right of mid-off brings Duckett two to end the over.

Odd dismissal for Zak Crawley. Well forward and surprised by some extra bounce.
Ben Duckett is in at four for England and gets off the mark with a single first ball.
Two worked through mid-wicket from Will Jacks ends the over.
So far in his very brief international career, Matthew Forde has taken a wicket in every over he's bowled...
Crawley c Athanaze b Forde 0 (Eng 8-2)
Matthew Forde has another one!
Zak Crawley shuffled down the track and then tried to leave it but the ball nipped back, leapt up and ballooned off the glove to second slip.
The simplest slip catch Alick Athanaze will ever take.
It's a dream start for Forde and the West Indies!
Gorgeous shot from Will Jacks!
After Romario Shepherd starts with three dot balls, Jacks meets the fourth - an overpitched delivery - with a perfectly straight bat.
Driven beautifully back past the bowler for four.
Jacks misses out last ball though. Short and wide but thumped straight to the fielder at cover.
It's a cold, wet and a windy winter's night in the United Kingdom. Hopefully most of you are wrapped up warmly by the fire and following the action with something hot to drink.

Perfectly clean catch. What a moment for Matty Forde.
Salt c Joseph b Forde 4 (Eng 4-1)
Gone!
The replay shows that Alzarri Joseph got his fingers underneath the ball and it is a first international wicket for Matthew Forde - in his first over.
It's a good catch from Joseph, diving forward to take the catch and send Phil Salt on his way.
Eng 4-0
Has Matthew Forde got a maiden ODI wicket in his first over? West Indies think so.
Phil Salt chipped the ball back towards mid-off, Alzarri Joseph dived forward and he thinks he took it cleanly.
Salt is unmoved and the umpires send it upstairs. My instinct is that this is out.
Two hours later than scheduled, we are under way.
Matthew Forde, on debut, opens the bowling. Phil Salt drives his first ball firmly to mid-off for no run but then thumps the next over cover for four!
Jos Buttler is only player who remains from the last time England played an ODI in Barbados back in February 2019.
Definitely another chance for a few players to stake their claim to be involved in England's next ODI side.
They will have a while to wait for it, though. England don't play another men's 50 over game after this until September 2024!

People like Phil Salt, Will Jacks and Zak Crawley if they get a hundred today they will expect to play the next game. It's an undercard to pencil yourself in.
It's an international debut for Matthew Forde. He replaces Oshane Thomas in the West Indies XI.
For England, as Jos Buttler mentioned, it is just one change with Matthew Potts in for Brydon Carse.
