England captain Heather Knight: "It's really good learning, we decided to rest a few players and play a few of our youngsters. India bowled really well, our total was sub-par but in the game. But I'm happy with the series, we had to adapt to the conditions.

"We didn't bat as well we should have. If we had 140 it would have been a really close game, but we didn't have enough for the bowlers.

"We've lost wickets in this series, but still managed to pump out a score. We've learnt about our youngsters, and experienced conditions we'll see a lot of in the next year."

Player of the series Nat Sciver-Brunt, who was rested today: "I'm really happy to have played in the first two games. I had a bit of a rest tonight, but it was a special game of cricket.

"It was a different wicket to the first one we played on, less consistent in the way that it played. But India bowled really well to us and made it really difficult.

"I'm working on my tempo and committing to my shots. It's going pretty well at the moment."

Player of the match Shreyanka Patil: "I'm very happy, it's the first time getting a three-fer. My family are here, my coach. I'm very proud.

"It's a huge experience for me to be bowling in tandem with Deepti. She's backing me, having a chat with me, not just on the field but off it. I'm looking forward to our journey."

India captain Harmanpreet Kaur: "Over all the games, we've improved as a team. We always need our game time, we'll keep on improving and we've seen good performances today.

"The pitch was a bit tricky. Some of the balls, especially the off-spinners were turning and then going straight. As a batter you keep thinking about that. As a batting group, we picked the bowlers where we take the charge."

India were able to get on top of Ecclestone and that was clever batting and good application.

When you're chasing you can dictate the tempo a bit more. When you bat first you're unsure what's a good score, when you can take risks. Chasing you can navigate with a bit more ease. And Mandhana was never going to be out of form for long. She had great timing, and brilliant footwork, exploiting the gaps in the field.

I think when India look back, they'll be chuffed how they bounced back. I still think England batting first was the right decision, but they weren't good enough. India got the job done.

India batter Smriti Mandhana: "The first two matches didn't go the way we wanted. We have a long tour coming up, so this win was important going into the Test. Back to back matches are difficult, I'd have been more pleased if I'd finished my innings, but really happy I could contribute.

"We bowled pretty well, towards the end they got 10-15 runs extra, but it was an excellent bowling performance.

"The way Aman played the last five or six balls - I'm really proud of her, the composure she showed. She was brilliant."

    And that's that!

Amanjot Kaur reverse sweeps and quickly runs a single to win the match for India with an over to spare. A lovely punchy cameo from the 23-year-old, playing in her first match of the series.

Captain Harmanpreet throws her arm around her namesake, her side has a consolation victory with the series finishing 2-1 to England.

    And another!

Full toss from Ecclestone and Amanjot dispatches the ball through the covers again.

    Scores level.

Seven runs needed from 10 balls

Amanjot Kaur settles some nerves with her first ball, driving Ecclestone through the covers for four.

    Ghosh b Ecclestone 2 (Ind 116-5)

Whisper it, but are England still in this?

Probably not, but this doesn't hurt. Richa Ghosh attempts to scoop Ecclestone over her shoulder and is bowled round her legs.

  13. Ind 116-4published at 18 overs

11 runs needed from 12 balls

Back comes Freya Kemp for her final over, she's on the hunt for her third wicket.

No breakthrough, but India can only work four singles from the over, as Charlie Dean makes a great stop in the point region to deny Harmanpreet a four.

  14. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17 overs

    Mandhana c Dunkley b Ecclestone 48 (Ind 112-4)

    Well, there's that wicket!

Bit of a tame dismissal from Smriti Mandhana, who was two runs short of her fifty. She chips Ecclestone to cover, where Sophia Dunkley takes the catch just above the ground, diving forward.

  15. Ind 112-3published at 16.5 overs

15 runs needed from 19 balls

Sophie Ecclestone returns to the attack - she's had a tough night so far, but Heather Knight desperately needs a wicket. It might be too late for the world's number one T20 bowler, with India needing a smidge over a run a ball.

Mandhana scoops her penultimate delivery away towards the ropes - Mahika Gaur goes after it but never really looks to be in the chase.

India edge closer to that target.

  16. Ind 102-3published at 16 overs

    25 needed from 24 balls

    Woops!

Harmanpreet goes to play the ramp shot to Kemp, doesn't get anywhere near it but the ball fools Amy Jones too and the ball runs away for five wides.

Harmanpreet takes a run into the legside to bring up India's 100, and two further singles follow to close the over.

    Sharma c Jones b Kemp 12 (Ind 94-3)

    A late twist?

Freya Kemp has her second wicket as Sharma attempts to cut down to third. The ball takes an edge and bobbles a little in Amy Jones's gloves, before she holds firm.

    Here comes Harmanpreet Kaur...

  18. Ind 93-2published at 15 overs

    34 needed from 30 balls

Two fours from the first three balls of Alice Capsey's over and the game is definitely turning in India's favour.

Mandhana cleaves another ball to the long-off boundary, before Sharma times a lovely shot through backward point.

  19. Ind 82-2published at 14 overs

    45 needed from 36 balls

Heather Knight introduces a sixth bowler with Dani Gibson taking the ball in hand.

Sharma turns her round the corner with an angled bat, it runs away extremely fine for four. A strangled cry from Gibson - she thinks that struck the pad first but England don't appeal.

Mandhana then sweeps her away comfortably for four. 12 off the over - that could be decisive.

  20. Ind 68-2published at 13 overs

    57 needed from 42 balls

Alice Capsey returns and concedes just one run, as Sharma sweeps to square leg.

The run rate creeps up a little...
