There's no bat on it.
Charlie Dean misses a full delivery and is given lbw first ball.
The umpire's finger goes up, but Dean reviews. Given England's predicament why not.
Ecclestone b Patil 2 (Eng 76-8)
Yeah. Seeing out the 20 overs looks optimistic.
It is given a bit of air by Shreyanka Patil and Sophie Ecclestone goes for a big heave but completely misses it, with the ball going on to clatter the stumps.
England's best over for a while as Saika Ishaque goes for five singles.
Heather Knight is still there on 19 from 24 balls. The skipper is just going to have to try and dominate the strike and at least make sure England see out the 20 overs.
No hat-trick for Shreyanka Patil as new batter Sophie Ecclestone sees off the over.
Where do England go from here?
Kemp lbw b Patil 0 (Eng 70-7)
All the reds and Freya Kemp goes first ball.
Now Shreyanka Patil is on a hat-trick!
India smell blood here.
New batter Freya Kemp misses a cut and the ball looks to hit her pads bang in front.
Their appeals are turned down but after a quick chat it is sent upstairs.
Heath c Amanjot b Patil 1 (Eng 70-6)
And another. Like a pack of cards.
Bess Heath attempts the reverse-sweep but can only pick out Amanjot Kaur who takes a smart catch at backward point.
Bess Heath pushes the ball to cover and survives.
Here comes Bess Heath on her T20 debut.
What a moment.
Gibson b Ishaque 0 (Eng 67-5)
Bowled her - Saika Ishaque is on a hat-trick!
It is a flat straight delivery that sees Danielle Gibson attempt to play on the back foot but misses the cut and the ball smashes into the stumps.
Jones c Shreyanka b Ishaque 25 (Eng 67-4)
Straight down the fielder's throat!
Amy Jones has shown some aggression this innings but does not generate enough power this time and can only pick out Shreyanka Patil at deep mid-wicket, who didn't have to move.
Deepti Sharma is bringing some valuable control to these middle overs. Just five singles come off her latest over. The one dot seeing Deepti dive to her right to field off her own bowling.
Jones 22, Knight 12
Amy Jones finds a gap in the off side but the ball is cut off before the rope, meaning England have to scamper through for a well-run three.
12 runs off the over means England reach 62-3 at the halfway stage, the green shoots of recovery are there.
Lovely shot from Heather Knight as she skips down the track and smacks Shreyanka Patil's second delivery for a six, with the ball landing right on the boundary rope.
England rotate the strike well, working Deepti Sharma's latest over away for five singles to bring up the England 50.
Heather Knight should be on her way too!
It is a leg-side delivery from Amanjot Kaur escapes through to Richa Ghosh with Knight way out of her crease, but the India wicketkeeper fumbled the ball and the England skipper can make her ground.
A couple of Amy Jones fours rubs salt into India wounds.
India showing the depth they have in their bowling attack as Deepti Sharma comes on in the first over outside the power play at a cost of just two singles.
A relatively quiet over gives everyone a chance to take a breath.
New batter Amy Jones plays a similar shot to the one that did for Alice Capsey, only this time it has more power so clears the covers and races away to the rope.
Jones then plays a nice ramp shot towards fine leg next ball that brings two.
This has been an exhilarating start by both sides.
Capsey c Rodrigues b Ishaque 7 (Eng 26-3)
And Saika Ishaque strikes first ball!
Alice Capsey fell to the same bowler on Saturday and does so again her, skipping down the track before heaving the ball straight to Jemimah Rodrigues in the covers.
