Eeee. Just seen the technology on that lbw review.

The impact was in line, but it was umpire's call on the stumps.

It was very tight too, a good portion of the ball was hitting the bails.

The decision would have stayed not out though so England haven't missed one.

For me, Shoaib Bashir is bowling well but he is just bowling a little too full and floaty. He needs to bowl it into the pitch a bit more and a tad quicker to trap Kuldeep on the crease.

  3. Ind 383-7published at 106 overs

There's an appeal for lbw to end Shoaib Bashir's over but there isn't much enthusiasm. There's a chat about a review, being pushed for by Ben Foakes I think, but Ben Stokes shakes his head.

"Outside the line for me," says the England skipper. He was also gesturing high, as was Joe Root.

  4. Ind 383-7published at 105.1 overs

Yashasvi Jaiswal takes a single from the first ball of Shoaib Bashir's over.

He's happy for Kuldeep Yadav to take on the spin, but wants to protect him from James Anderson.

Was that Jaiswal celebration a Jude Bellingham?

  6. Ind 382-7published at 105 overs

Yashasvi Jaiswal opts to take a single from the fourth ball and Kuldeep Yadav can see out the final two balls of the over.

Ben Stokes has a brief word with James Anderson at the end of the over. "One more, Jimmy?" maybe.

  7. Ind 381-7published at 104.3 overs

We've got to the stage where Yashasvi Jaiswal is turning down singles.

Ben Stokes has spread the field, willing to give the opener a single, but he twice turns down runs to deep cover.

  8. Ind 381-7published at 104 overs

Kuldeep Yadav blocks out a maiden from Shoaib Bashir.

James Anderson takes on some fluids at the other end. He looks like he's going to continue. This will be his sixth over on the spin this morning.

Vinod Kambli got his double century when I was playing! He could really play.

  10. Ind 381-7published at 103 overs

There's an appeal from the second of those balls but the ball pitched outside the line of leg stump and Anderson and England wisely opt against the review.

Kuldeep Yadav keeps the strike after working a single off his pads to end the over.

Yashasvi Jaiswal is the fourth-youngest Indian to score a Test double century by the way. He's behind Vinod Kambli, who did it twice, and Sunil Gavaskar.

  11. Ind 380-7published at 102.2 overs

Yashasvi Jaiswal takes a single next ball and James Anderson will get four balls at Kuldeep Yadav.

  12. Ind 379-7published at 102.1 overs

When you've scored 200 you deserve some luck.

    Yashasvi Jaiswal gets his.

A genuine outside edge off James Anderson but it is wide of a diving Zak Crawley at second slip.

Without this innings, India are flaky. They'd very jittery.

What a knock by the young man, they'll be very grateful for him.

  14. Ind 375-7published at 102 overs

Shoaib Bashir gets out of the over with just a further single added to the total.

It will be interesting to see what Ben Stokes does here. James Anderson can't have many more overs left at the other end, but pace has definitely looked more threatening this morning.

He's a proper modern Test batsman. He mixes short-form innovation and mindset with ability to open in Test cricket. A very exciting young player who could now let rip.

Great sweeping from Yashasvi Jaiswal, he's going to play his shots here.

And there it is next ball!

A rank full toss from Shoaib Bashir and the left-hander sweeps it away again.

He runs off in celebration and does a huge leap in the air as he approaches the non-striker's end.

It has been a superb innings.

  18. 6 runs

    Ind 370-7published at 101.1 overs

That might be the sign of Yashasvi Jaiswal's intent.

He slog sweeps the first ball of Shoaib Bashir's latest over over fine leg for six.

    Superb shot.

He's one hit away from 200 now.

India don't have much batting left. The stage is set for Jaiswal to play some more of his shots.

Watching Jimmy Anderson bowl like this makes it even more bizarre that he was left out of the first Test. The surface barely matters to him.

  20. Ind 364-7published at 101 overs

Looks like Jonny Bairstow and James Anderson both had a bit of chirp at Ravichandran Ashwin after that wicket was confirmed. That's one to keep an eye on for the rest of the Test and series.

Kuldeep Yadav is the new batter and Anderson beats his outside edge twice in his first three deliveries. Too good.
