    A really great opportunity for West Ham and just shows how quick they can turn defence into attack. There is a symbiosis between that front three and we have seen it continue to develop over the last few months.

    Liverpool have been excellent so far. They're playing some intricate passing moves and causing a lot of trouble down the right-hand side.

    Leanne Kiernan has the ball about 10 yards from goal but fires wide of the near post.

    I thought that goal was a sure thing when I saw it heading for Elisabeth Terland. That is a big, big miss and a huge let off for West Ham.

    That was incredible play from West Ham. Riko Ueki driving down the right hand side and nutmegging Maya Le Tissier and then Viviane Asseyi was centimetres away from reaching the header and putting the ball inside the far post.

    A lot of the play seems to be happening in the middle third of the pitch and there is not a lot of space in there. It is making the pitch so condensed and it is not providing a lot of opportunities to break free.

    That is why we are seeing a lot of balls over the top to try and get around that condensed area.

    Elisabeth Terland is such a powerful player, she has such a presence in that front line. Trying to pick her out is something that Manchester United should be trying to do more of.
