  5. Derry celebrate All-Ireland minor triumphpublished at 17:01 British Summer Time 7 July

    Armagh 0-10 Derry 2-7

Derry came with a strong final quarter spurt to defend their All-Ireland minor football title in a 2-7 to 0-10 victory over Armagh in Healy Park.

Cody Rocks' palmed goal 10 minutes from the end was the key score as Derry wrestled momentum away from Armagh, who had taken the lead for the first time after half time.

James Sargent's penalty gave Derry an early cushion but the sides went in level 1-3 to 0-6 at the break.

Armagh outscored Derry 0-6 to 0-1 either side of half time after the penalty as they chased a first All-Ireland at this grade since 2009.

    Limerick 0-16 Cork 1-11

    Eoin Kelly

Cork have played very well in the first half but I think in the last few minutes Limerick have squeezed them and they are coming out with ball after ball.

    HT: Limerick 0-16 Cork 1-11

    Neil McManus
Former Antrim star on BBC Sport NI

Diarmaid Byrnes is so often the player who comes up with the big response and his point is just incredible.

He pulls that one out of the clouds and he sticks that one over from about 105 yards, this is just after the goal too.

The bravery, the skill, the execution and the confidence he had because he knew that Limerick were on the back foot a little bit.

  12. 'Cork are not going to out-shoot Limerick on points'published at 16:50 British Summer Time 7 July

    HT: Limerick 0-16 Cork 1-11

    Paul Murphy
Four-time All-Ireland winner with Kilkenny on BBC Sport NI

We have seen Cork actually get in behind. That is something we haven't seen teams do against Limerick, where they actually turn the Limerick defence and run at them.

Marginal things would have got them another goal and they will need goals, they're not going to out-shoot Limerick on points so goals will be crucial for them.

  13. Postpublished at 16:48 British Summer Time 7 July

    HT: Limerick 0-16 Cork 1-11

    Neil McManus
Former Antrim star on BBC Sport NI

The opener from Robert Downey is a thing of absolute beauty, he has great hands.

He runs the ball 70 yards and then off the hurl from the left hand side, just incredible.

  14. 'Half-time could have come at a good time for Cork'published at 16:44 British Summer Time 7 July

    HT: Limerick 0-16 Cork 1-11

    Austin Gleeson
Waterford forward on BBC Sport NI

You could see from the get-go Cork were rightly up for it.

They went 4-1 up and it was great to see them come up with that, but now Limerick have got to grips with it or Cork are starting to get a small bit tired, half-time could have come at a good time for Cork.

  15. Limerick ahead at the breakpublished at 16:41 British Summer Time 7 July

    HT: Limerick 0-16 Cork 1-11

We have reached half-time and Limerick take a two-point advantage into the dressing room with them.

Since Cork's goal, they have really stepped up and their half-back line in particular with Diarmaid Byrnes making some big plays.

Limerick have out-scored Cork by 0-10 to 0-3 since 20th minute and there is a sense of inevitability about things unless the Rebels can find a way to reassert themselves.

  16. Postpublished at 16:36 British Summer Time 7 July

    Limerick 0-15 Cork 1-10

Three minutes of added time at the end of the first half and Limerick go two up with a long-range free by Diarmaid Byrnes.

    Limerick 0-14 Cork 1-10

    Jamesie O'Connor
Two-time All-Ireland winner with Clare on BBC Sport NI

Cork needed that point, it was Alan Connolly's second point and he will have a big say on how this game plays out going forward.

  18. Postpublished at 16:33 British Summer Time 7 July

    Limerick 0-14 Cork 1-10

Yellow cards for Aaron Gillane and Eoin Downey for a slight altercation. Didn't seem a lot in it but the cards were produced anyway.

  19. 'End-to-end stuff'published at 16:32 British Summer Time 7 July

    Limerick 0-14 Cork 1-10

    Jamesie O'Connor
Two-time All-Ireland winner with Clare on BBC Sport NI

This is what we wanted, this is what we were hoping for and this is what they have given us.

They are just picking up where they left off eight weeks ago, end-to-end stuff. We have had great saves, goal chances taken and missed and the referee making marginal wrong calls.
