Well. that was a dramatic day of GAA action and who would have expected such a one-sided affair at Celtic Park as Armagh demolished Derry in the All-Ireland SFC.

Tyrone picked up their first group win and Monaghan played out a draw with Louth.

Antrim were pipped by Sligo for top spot in their Tailteann Cup group after drawing with the Yeats County while Down made it three straight wins by holding off Offaly.

The was Ulster hurling success in the Croke Park finals as Fermanagh won the Lory Meagher Cup and Donegal cliched a Nicky Rackard Cup success but Derry lost out to Kildare in the Christy Ring decider.

We hope you enjoyed it but that's all from us for now.

    Thanks for your company.

    FT: Derry 0-15 Armagh 3-17

it's full-time at Celtic Park, where Armagh have absolutely trounced Derry. Few would have predicted this result at the start of play.

Derry have a lot to worry about going forward - especially their leaky defence which has now shipped nine goals in three games. If they fail to beat Westmeath in their next game, they will be eliminated from the Championship.

For Armagh, this result will give the county a huge lift, and they can now put the Ulster final loss firmly in the rear-view mirror. Their clash against Galway in two weeks' time will be box-office viewing.
