  2. Down survive Offaly scarepublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 2 June

    FT: Down 2-22 Offaly 3-13

And that's the full-time whistle as Down survive a major scare against Offaly.

It was looking like a routine afternoon when eight up and Offaly down to 14 after Eoin Carroll was sent off. However, the Faithful roared back and two goals helped them level.

Down lost Jonny Flynn to a second yellow late, but finally found the answered with that goal from Oisin Savage and then with the last act Ryan Magill finished to the net to end it.

That's three wins from three for Down who are straight into the quarter-final, while Offaly's season ends.

  3. All-Ireland SFC - Round Twopublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 2 June

Monaghan v Louth, Clones, 15:30 BST

After producing a poor display in their group opener in Killarney, Monaghan will hope to breathe life into the Sam Maguire Cup campaign as they face neighbours Louth at Clones.

But it's not going to be easy against a Louth side who tested Dublin in the Leinster Final and then backed that up by hammering Meath 3-10 to 0-9 in their group opener last weekend.

Not surprising, Louth boss Ger Brennan named an unchanged team on Thursday.

Vinny Corey, meanwhile, makes three Monaghan personnel changes from the 10-point defeat in Killarney as Kieran Duffy replaces Barry McBennett at full-back and Ciaran McNulty and Joel Wilson take over from Micheal McCarville and Sean Jones in a side which also shows a number of positional switches.

An interesting element to the contest is that McNulty's Inniskeen club-mate Tommy Durnin is one of Louth's key players.

    Monaghan: R Beggan; R Wylie, K Duffy, R O'Toole; J Irwin, K Lavelle, C McCarthy; G Mohan, K O'Connell; S O'Hanlon, M Bannigan, M Hamill; C McNulty, J Wilson, C McManus.

    Subs: D McDonnell, J McCarron, S Mooney, K Loughran, R McAnespie, D Garland, M McCarville, A Woods, B McBennett, S Jones, T McPhillips.

    Louth: N McDonnell; D McKenny, D Corcoran, P Lynch; C McKeever, A Williams, C Lennon; T Durnin, B Duffy; N Sharkey, C Keenan, C Grimes; R Burns, S Mulroy, C Downey.

    Subs: C Lynch, C O'Neill, P McStravick, L Jackson, D Campbell, C Murphy, T Jackson, L Grey, C Byrne, C Early, P Mathews

    Derry 0-16 Kildare 2-12

Derry have had a bright start to this second half.

Johnny McGarvey's side are putting up more of a fight in the mid-field area and getting some joy from it as John Mullan and Cormac O'Doherty register two quick scores.

On the other end of the field, Kildare have just hit two wides in a row.

  5. Goal - Oisin Savage (Down)published at 15:13 British Summer Time 2 June

Down can breathe a sigh of relief now as Oisin Savage takes a pass fro Shane Annett to bury to the net. Jack McCartan kicks a point as the game moves into three minutes of added time.

It seems Down will maintain their 100 percent record.

Down's numerical advantage is now gone as Jonny Flynn has picked up a second yellow just minutes after being cautioned.

    Tyrone 3-15 Clare 0-10

It's a vital first two All-Ireland SFC points for Tyrone as they finish strongly to hammer Clare by fifteen points.

The first half was all about Niall Devlin as the corner-back kicked 2-2, the second half was all about Darragh Canavan who came to life with 1-4 of his own.

Group 3 is wide open heading into the final round of games in a fortnight's time when Tyrone will take on leaders Cork as Clare face Ulster Champions Donegal needing a victory to keep their season alive.

Today's 14-point win will really help the Red Hands' cause lest any score difference scenarios emerge during the final round of games.

    Down 0-21 Offaly 3-12

Five to play here and Offaly are back level. Momentum is with them and this situation seemed hugely improbable when they trailed by eight early in the second half.

Ruairi Canavan gets a score of his own as Mark McInerney points for Clare.

  11. Postpublished at 15:01 British Summer Time 2 June

    Down 0-21 Offaly 3-11

Eamonn Brown has just struck the inside of the post for Down but the ball somehow rebounds out. That would have eased their nerves but still a one-point game with just around 11 left to play.

  12. Postpublished at 14:59 British Summer Time 2 June

Third point of the day for Mattie Donnelly.

  13. Postpublished at 14:58 British Summer Time 2 June

    Down 0-21 Offaly 3-11

Points from Paddy McCarthy and Conor McCrickard steady Down again who are back in front, but any time Offaly run at them there are openings.

There are 15 minutes left and this could go either way as Cormac Egan pulls one back for the Faithful.

  14. Red card for Clarepublished at 14:57 British Summer Time 2 June

    Tyrone 2-10 Clare 0-9

Cathal McShane replaces Sean O'Donnell on the Tyrone team.

Mattie Donnelly gets his second point and that's three on the bounce now for the home team.

    Emmet McMahon replies for Clare.

Darragh Bohannon is sent off for a late challenge on Michael O'Neill.

    Derry 0-12 Kildare 2-12

  17. Postpublished at 14:52 British Summer Time 2 June

    Down 0-19 Offaly 2-10

Momentum is now with Offaly and a free from Nigel Dunne after a Cathal Flynn point leaves just a goal in it.

From looking so comfortable a short time age, there is now just three between them. A bit of anxiety creeping into the Down support around us.

  18. Postpublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 2 June

    Tyrone 2-9 Clare 0-8

Darragh Canavan lands his first score of the day from play and his third overall.

His brother Ruairi Canavan scores his first soon after.

  19. Postpublished at 14:47 British Summer Time 2 June

    Tyrone 2-7 Clare 0-8

Another change on the Clare team as Einne O'Connor replaces Brian McNamara.

Peter Harte enters the fray for Tyrone, replacing Darren McCurry.

Darragh Canavan stretches the home lead from a mark.

There is also a senior inter-county debut for Ardboe's Shea O'Hare as he replaces Kieran McGeary just two weeks after winning an All-Ireland with the county's U20 team.

  20. goal

Goal - Cormac Egan (Offaly)published at 14:47 British Summer Time 2 June

    Down 0-19 Offaly 2-8

To be fair to Offaly, there is no quit in them and Cormac Egan has been put through for a second goal.

Perhaps Down have mentally relaxed a little but a good score from substitute Caolan Mooney is the response.
