  11. Down on top at the breakpublished at 14:23 British Summer Time 2 June 2024

    HT: Down 0-16 Offaly 1-6

Half-time in Cavan and Down are well on their way to make it three wins from three in Group Four of the Tailteann Cup.

After Daire McDaid netted early for Offaly, Down took charge and rattled off six-straight scores, but Offaly began to grow into it and were just four back heading into the dying moments of they first half.

Down clipped over another three and 0-16 for a first half is a very healthy tally with all six starting forwards on the board.

As expected, this is a very open game with little jeopardy surrounding it.

  12. Devlin hits 2-2 as Tyrone lead at half-timepublished at 14:09 British Summer Time 2 June 2024

    Tyrone 2-3 Clare 0-5

That first half was all about Tyrone corner-back Niall Devlin as he kicked 2-2 of his side's 2-3 tally.

Clare are well in this contest and played a portion of that half with 14 men after a black card to Ikem Ugwueru but Tyrone scored just a single point in that 10-minute spell.

In reality it's been a pretty lethargic opening 35 minutes from both sides in what could prove end proving to be a do-or-die contest for both.

    Down 0-8 Offaly 1-2

Bit of confusion here as Down seem to have had a point taken off them. It was 0-8 on the board, then reduced by one but back where it was thanks to Shealan Johnston.

Offaly have steadied the ship a little with a couple of scores and carved out a decent goal opportunity only for the pass to be overcooked.

Down comfortable, but maybe just a bit too comfortable there for a few minutes.

  14. Postpublished at 14:04 British Summer Time 2 June 2024

    Tyrone 2-3 Clare 0-5

Niall Devlin is certainly the man of the moment as he lands another score bringing his personal tally up to 2-2.

Ciaran Daly is the only other Tyrone scorer.

    Tyrone 2-2 Clare 0-5

It's a second goal of the day for Tyrone and for Niall Devlin.

The Coalisland defender jinked and jived before slotting low under Stephen Ryan.

Niall Morgan was the architect injecting pace into the attack before slipping Devlin through.
