"It was really hard because of the crash of Dylan [Groenewegen] he could not give his all. We had a tactic to do it without George [Bennett] because he’s just too small.
The other guys were strong, and everyone kept the pace, we heard we were fastest and it gave us so much morale.
"We were flying anyway from the yellow jersey. It’s unbelievable, it’s not that I’m getting used to winning stages in the Tour de France but that’s two out of two now.
"It was a really big goal for us. It’s unbelievable and I can only thank everyone in the team for all their hard work. This one is for them."

"I’m not sure on all the splits yet and when I get back to the bus and have a look we can take it from there. It’s still early in the race but as a team we can be happy with that. It’s a stressful day for all the teams.
"It’s not easy getting eight guys coordinated and ready to go."
So the wait for Ineos to win a team time trial at the Tour continues.
Jumbo-Visma have absolutely obliterated the field there and Dutchman Mike Teunissen extends his lead in the GC classification, over some fairly big names.
Mike Teunissen is back in yellow on stage three.
The Dutch team had oodles of time to spare there. Well 20 seconds. Not sure I've seen the team that has gone off first beaten by the team that set off last before.

Some bad news for the chaps at Ineos. Jumbo-Visma have scorched through the first time check in first place, 14 seconds quicker.

Vincenzo Nibali crashed on Alpe d’Huez in 2018 but he looks in decent shape so far this time around.
His Bahrain-Merida rock one of the best race uniforms around and their train of gold helmets and striking red and blue have just powered through the line 16 seconds down on the Ineos time.
Nibali the most successful Grand Tour rider in this year’s Tour de France, having won all three Grand Tours and the Tour de France in 2014, looks pretty pleased with that effort, cutting a smile amid some heavy breathing.
They've got the sixth best provisional time.

Now here come Mitchelton Scott and Adam Yates.
Have they brought it back after dropping off the pace by 18 seconds at the second checkpoint?
No. Yates is going to lose 21 seconds to his GC rivals Geraint Thomas and Egan Bernal and plus around 10 seconds to Thibaut Pinot.
Mike Teunissen and the Jumbo-Visma boys are out on the road.
Lotto-Soudal are looking pretty ragged as they reach the finish line.
Their original eight-man line-up has been cut in half and Australian sprinter Caleb Ewan, is absent as they reach the finish line.
His white jersey is probably going to disappear as well.

Well the 34-year-old Australian is now giving everything he's got for Trek-Segafredo but they've finished well down the pecking order today, some 58 seconds adrift of the leading Ineos team.
Losing almost a minute of general classification time at this stage, will definitely not have been Porte's idea of fun.
