This is about to explode. Elia Viviani is too far back....
Here we go. Lotto-Soudal are up there. Where's Caleb Ewan?
Plenty of jostling for places here. This is going to be carnage. The sprinters all look like they are marking each other.
Julian Alaphilippe is shifting here, he's working his socks off for Elia Viviani.
The Frenchman is just on the wheel of the Mitchelton-Scott boys at the front.
The sprint trains as forming. Vincenzo Nibali looks like he's got Sonny Colbrelli back in the mix.
How is Michael Matthews going to make it back here... in the fastest section of the race?

Greg van Avermaet is making a move, trying to strike out.
He's big, strong and powerful and has stolen a march on the field. Michael Matthews is on the limit at the back, he's trying to make up ground with Nicholas Roche.
The bell is ringing out. We're closing in on the end of three unbelievable weeks of racing....
Final lap approaching.
Michael Matthews (Sunweb) is fuming. He's got a problem and has to pull up.
The Australian launches his bike away in disgust, he's going to have to shift to make the sprint finish.

Laurens de Plus (Jumbo-Visma) stops for a mechanical and now Sonny Colbrelli (Bahrain-Merida) has a flat tyre.
Vincenzo Nibali is back there to propel him back on to the group though. Thanks mate.

Jan Tratnik is last man standing at the front. Surely he will have to sit up now.
Need I say more...
Two laps to go. Two riders remain at the front. Only a matter of time now.
I was hoping to be using a brilliant image of Peter Sagan photo-bombing the Ineos team earlier but instead I best mention that he has won the points classification (again).
That means he will stand alone with a record seven green jersey successes, after being tied on six with former German sprinter Erik Zabel.
But can he win on the Champs-Elysees? The Slovakian has twice been runner-up in Paris, surely he's due one?

They do say nothing ventured nothing gained. If these four are reined in that's when you will find the attacks being.
If you catch them too far out it makes the stage messy and sprinters teams do not like that.
