    Earlier this evening Frances Brown picked up her second medal of the World Cycling Championship's.

    Speaking to BBC Sport she said: "It was amazing. I did not expect to break the world record again and to do it in the final is amazing.

    "The crowd is incredible and you just hear the noise.

    "It just drives you on and carries you home."

    Wow, a huge fightback from Sophie Unwin and Jenny Holl to rescue themselves!

    They do force a decider in the gold medal race by the finest margins, having to come round the outside to take victory against the Australian pair.

    USA force a decider against Italy in the bronze medal race by winning the second contest.

    Now GB's Sophie Unwin and Jenny Holl will attempt to do the same, having lost their first race against Australia's Jessica Gallagher and Caitlin Ward.

    Great Britain are guaranteed gold and silver in the men's C3 individual pursuit, but who will win which medal?

    Yesterday, Jaco van Gass got the better of Finlay Graham in the scratch race and those two will once again go head-to-head for gold in Glasgow.

    First, New Zealand's Devon Briggs and Matthijs Drenth of the Netherlands battle for bronze.

    Luri Leitao won't take maximum points for a third successive event - but he's only denied by New Zealand's Campbell Stewart.

    The Portuguese rider looks in great form and will be full of confidence going in to the final event, which will complete the action on day four later this evening.

    Here's what Dan Bigham had to say after taking silver in the men's individual pursuit:

    "It was pretty cool. It would be nice to watch back and see, it is gutting though.

    "It is awesome as I know him [Filippo Ganna] so well, it is fun when I get to put my kit on and take him on head to head.

    "I opened the taps and gave everything I had."

    As the big screen in the Chris Hoy velodrome shows replays, Bigham adds: "That is hard to watch."

    I have never seen anything like that at this level.

    That big of a margin with two laps to go and the fatigue set in.

    What a phenomenal perfromance from both.

    Heartbreak for Dan Bigham right at the very end.

    Somehow, the Italian turns around a two-second advantage to deny the Briton a memorable victory.

    It's silver for Bigham, who thanks the crowd and congratulates Ganna. That was an incredible effort.
