Ah, Daphne Schrager is down!
That's such a shame. She quickly receives medical assistance by the track.
Let's hope she's OK.
The women's C2 500m time trial features GB's Daphne Schrager.
Schrager is joined by reigning champion Amanda Reid of Australia in the six-rider final, which also includes 2022 medallists Sabrina Custodia of Brazil and Switzerland's Flurina Rigling.
GB's Elizabeth Jordan and Amy Cole take victory over Argentine pair Maria Chicahuala and Micaela Barroso by almost two seconds in the first race as they aim to finish fifth in the women's B sprint.
Mathieu Van Poel speaking after his world title winning performance, "It means everything it was one of the biggest goals and to win it today is amazing.
"It almost completes my career in my opinion, almost my biggest victory on the road."
Van Der Poel comments on his fall in the final 10km, "I was not taking risks, I don't know all of sudden I was on the ground.
"It was super slippery at times and it was really difficult.
"But to still manage to pull it off, I wouldn't say it makes it nicer as I would have loved to have stayed on the bike.
"But if it cost me a world title I would have not slept for a couple of days."
The finals in the women's B sprint are split over the schedule this evening.
First, in the fight for placings from fifth to eighth, GB's Elizabeth Jordan and Amy Cole take on Argentine pair Maria Chicahuala and Micaela Barroso.
Frances Brown is absolutely flying here!
The gold is hers - but how quick will this be?
WORLD RECORD! Wow.
The Briton crosses the line in four minutes 10.941 seconds, claiming victory by over six seconds. What a ride that is to land GB's first medal of the evening.
Around half an hour ago, Dutchman Mathieu van der Poel recovered from a nasty crash to claim victory in a thrilling men's road race, which was earlier halted by a protest.
The 28-year-old attacked in the final 25km and held on despite breaking his shoe as he fell on rain-soaked roads.
Belgium's Wout van Aert took silver and Tadej Pogacar of Slovenia outsprinted Denmark's Mads Pedersen for bronze
The opening event on the track this evening is the women's C1 individual pursuit.
And it could deliver a golden start for Great Britain.
GB's Frances Brown is in the gold medal race, against Wangwei Qian of China.
China's Jiafang Yang has just moments ago beaten Britain's Katie Toft to bronze.
Here's tonight's packed schedule on the track:
