    Breaking

Adrian Lewis 2-10 Raymond van Barneveld

RvB completes an absolute demolition of Adrian Lewis on double 4.

Barney has two wins from his three matches and it's confirmed that puts him through.

Now then, what needs to happen in the MvG Taylor match?!

Adrian Lewis 2-9 Raymond van Barneveld*

Barney is just one away from victory.

Lewis misses double top for a 157 finish and the Dutchman pins double 11 at the second attempt.

He'll have the darts to win the match.

The two darting titans are back out on stage.

It looks like Barney is going to win this - but I'll be honest I'm not sure what that means for the Taylor MvG match yet.

It's going to come down to leg difference. I'll let you know once this is done.

*Adrian Lewis 2-8 Raymond van Barneveld

There's a little fist-pump from Barney as he goes into the break just two legs away from victory.

    20, 20, double 18 for a 76 finish.

It's not been a fantastic spectacle so far - Lewis is averaging 87.18, RvB 92.45.

Adrian Lewis 2-7 Raymond van Barneveld*

    Better from Lewis.

He lands just outside double 12 for a 144 finish, but takes it out at the next attempt.

The 32-year-old still doesn't look at the races though.

*Adrian Lewis 1-7 Raymond van Barneveld

Hmm, this match has gone a little flat with both men missing doubles for fun.

It's evenutally madhouse for the Dutchman. He's missed 17 darts at a double in eight legs, yet he still leads 7-1.

Lewis is averaging 88. 15 points down on what you'd expect from the Englishman.

Finally Ade gets on the board!

134, 140, 140, leave him with time to find the finish but he struggles again before hitting double five.

    Phew.

Lewis is staring down the barrel of a whitewash here.

Jackpot hits his second 180 of the match, but can't finish.

Barney can on double top to go 6-0 in front.

  10. Another break for Barneypublished at 15:07 British Summer Time 17 September 2017

Adrian Lewis 0-5 Raymond van Barneveld*

Van Barneveld's scoring is phenomenal - his finishing not so much.

The Dutchman leaves himself on 32 after nine darts, but takes a few attempts before landing double 8.

    Five zip.

*Adrian Lewis 0-4 Raymond van Barneveld

Barney's throw is almost hypnotic it's that smooth.

The five-time world champ lands his second max, but messes about on his doubles.

Lewis has a chance to make him pay, but can't find double top and Barney finally hits double two to go 4-0 up.

Adrian Lewis 0-3 Raymond van Barneveld*

Now Jackpot gets in on the 180 action.

But it doesn't matter a jot as Barney finishes 96 on his favourite double 18.

Ominous signs for Lewis - it's another break of throw for the Dutchman.

    Raymond is in the zone.

The big Dutchman powers in his first 180 and cleans up the leg with double 16, middle of the bed.

    That's a 13-darter for the 50-year-old.

Adrian Lewis 0-1 Raymond van Barneveld*

I may have mentioned earlier that Lewis was already out. He pretty much is, but not quite! Even I'm confused.

If he beats Barney 10-5 and Phil Taylor wins 10-5 against MvG there will be a nine-dart shoot out between Barney, MvG and Lewis.

Anyway, back to this game and Barney takes out a superb 117 outshot on double top.

It'll be Jackpot to throw first.

Adrian Lewis v Raymond van Barneveld

Jackpot is cool as a cucumber as he makes his way to the oche.

He has nothing to lose, but he won't want to be sent packing with three defeats.

This has all the makings of a high-scoring classic.

Barney looks MUCH happier during his walk on than this picture from yesterday suggests!

The crowd love him, I love him, how can you not love him?

    Thanks Jay.

Now we move over to the more complicated Group A.

If Adrian Lewis beats Barney, Phil Taylor is through.

If Barney wins, Taylor will need eight legs against MvG to seal his place in the semis.

There are plenty more permutations which could lead to a nine-dart shootout, but I'll explain that if we get there!

    Gary Anderson told BBC Sport:

"I pinched it at the end but I should have won the game, I outscored him and demolished him in the scoring but Peter was checking out.

"I just keep playing. I've had two weeks off, the 180s are back but if it comes good and I get back on the practice board, I might do alright.

"To win any tournament you've got to beat anyone in front of you."
