Phil Taylor is two legs away from sealing a place in the semi-finals. Remember, he needs to win at least eight legs to ensure he goes through whatever MVG does.

He shows a fair bit of bravado on stage and he makes no mistake on double 16 to go in on top at the break.

A maximum from MVG! But this is a finely-poised match. The Power misses the bull for an 81 checkout.

Adrian Lewis 2-10 Raymond van Barneveld

    Alan Warriner-Little
    2001 World Grand Prix winner

Raymond van Barneveld did what he had to to do. He's not thinking of the permutations, he wanted to get to the semi-finals. He's got a break now, a bit of practice and rest and he can get ready for later on.

For Adrian Lewis, it's been a culmination of not playing. He's only played in the World Matchplay recently and he's not played that many tournaments and that has taken its toll.

  20. 'I like to play in the afternoon'published at 15:28 British Summer Time 17 September 2017

Adrian Lewis 2-10 Raymond van Barneveld

Raymond van Barneveld told BBC Sport:

"I like to play in the afternoon.

"I played well against Michael, last night I was really tired against Phil.

"Adrian missed a lot of doubles, I was lucky he missed - he missed a lot of crucial shots.

    "10-2 is fantastic."
