There was a huge roar from Gerwyn Price as he won his third leg on the spin.

Gerwyn Price is averaging over 110 in the early stages while Jonny Clayton is at around 94.

Jonny Clayton does not make Gerwyn Price pay though, and once again he returns to hit double 10 and move three legs up early on.

Almost a remarkable 148 checkout for Gerwyn Price, who hits treble 18 on his first two throws but misses his favourite double tops.

The Ferret then makes 140 to take control of the leg.

The pressure is already on the 'Ferret' as Gerwyn Price has come out of the blocks really quickly.

He missed tops for an 82 check out but returns to clear up on double 10.

The O2 erupted into boos as Gerwyn Price took to the stage but the boos are definitely not as loud as they’ve been in previous years.

One treble each in their first visits before Gerwyn Price pings the first 180 of the day.

Michael van Gerwen is chasing a record seventh Premier League of Darts title this evening, taking him above the six held by Phil Taylor.

But history says that Gerwyn Price is the man to beat tonight, as in 12 of the 18 previous years the player who topped the table after 16 weeks went on to win the title.

Tonight's overall winner will take home £275,000 for their efforts, while the runner-up will bag £125,000.

Each losing semi-finalist will win £85,000, plus £10,000 for every weekly win during the regular season.

Six-time Premier League champion Michael van Gerwen says he is "100% fit" ahead of the finals tonight.

The Dutchman had to withdraw from his semi-final last week against Dimitri van den Bergh in Aberdeen due to a shoulder problem, but he says he is fully fit this evening.

If that first semi-final does not excite you, how about a rematch of January's World Championship final?

Current World Champion Michael Smith faces six-time Premier League winner Michael van Gerwen for the right to face the victorious Welshman.

These two have met four times so far this campaign, with things tied at 2-2.
